After facing foreclosure, I contacted the bank and applied for the President's Home Modification Program. They put the foreclosure on hold while they were working on the program. I called them frequently for updates and was always told they were still working on it and everything was still on hold, not to worry. Yesterday (7-28), I received a Notice to Vacate and that my house was sold at auction by the bank. City power cut my electricity without any notice. Post office delayed my account and although this is not an excuse, not all of us have time chasing up on accounts. The story about them cutting power after you are a month or two late is a huge lie (answer to previous similiar complaint). My account was 100% up to date. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Lighting by Gregory is a complete ripoff. They advertised a ceiling fan with a specific wall controler. I wish to complain about the poor customer service of UTS. We own a NordicTrack treadmill and all I want to know is where to find an approved repair service for our machine. Bought two rooms of hardwood flooring from a salesman who assured me I was getting a top-notch product at a great sale price. Later found out from a manager at another Rite-Rug store that the product received was considered seconds and that since I paid a sale price I should not expect better. I was hired by a company called webcams.com. Webcams told me that in order to get my paycheck I had to open an account with Epassporte.com I uploaded my drivers license and social security card and requested documents in order to open my account. I then was asked to send 25.00 to open the account. After I sent the 25.00 opening amount, they froze the account asking for tons of more information than was originally requested. We bought a living room set and dining room set from RTG. They put a protective spray on the furniture that we did not order. The salesman lied and said we insisted on having it. The store mgr. was very rude and demeaning...very unprofessional and simply did not care. Customer service wouldn't do a thing and said they have a no return policy. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and within a couple of days they called and gave us a refund on the protective spray. Beware of Wellness Performance Institute. They will keep charging your card long after you cancel your contract. I cancelled my contract 6 months ago, and they are still charging me. This is a company of ambulance chasers. I had a small fire at my home and a Southpro salesman arrived at the same time as the fire truck. I was distraught and they said they were with my insurance company. Their salesman said I had to move out of my house and they would make my home like new. They moved out all of my belongings and put them some where; I have no idea. Then they attempted to clean and "restore" my home. Beware... The watch industry has a little game they play with the "water resistiveness" of watches. As a firefighter and avid outdoorsman, I wanted a functional, good looking watch. CRST is certainly not the company they advertise to be . I went to work for CRST only because i had a speeding ticket annd they gave me a chance, which i did appreciate. But after getting to Cedar Rapids and meeting some of the instructors i started to immediately feel like a number not an individual. This company can zap a customer's credit card immediately for a purchase, ship a DAMAGED product necessitating a return (it was supposed to be refurbished), incur a major undertaking on customer's part to get an RMA issued, and then in so many words tell the customer that it will take a massive technical operation to properly refund the customer's funds. I went to call the Dubai London Clinic yesterday (04.11.09) to seek assistance from a ENT specialist. Surprisingly I have got an appointment at 2pm (I called at 11am) which I thought was super swift, considering that I have called other clinics and they offered me appointments in 10-14 days. I called Cox about a cable problem which was introduced when Cox technician installed a high definition cable box. Cox came and replaced another cable box and I was told by their customer services that it was no charge for the repair. But I soon found out when Cox send me a bill that shows $49.95 for the repair. We rented two cars from Advantage for our company staff. On return, we arrived late for our flight and in a hurry, left a large sized GPS device (Magellan RoadMate 1700) in the car. There is absolutely no way the Asian staff who took back the car could have missed that device (8" wide by 4.5" tall). This company does not stand by their full customer satisfction guarantee at all so beware before you order. They will allow you to return a photo album that is very poorly made with really bad quality pictures but you still have to pay $10 to $15 to ship the album back to them. Two African American women walking door-to-door in Redding, CT supposedly selling magazine subscriptions in order to gain points for a large prize. They claim to be poor with children, pictures shown, and asking to come in and rest since their hot and tired. The magazine subscriptions are twice or three times the actual price. Saying that the cost is so high so that they can get a bonus, that is how they are working. It's all BS, and this should not be allowed to happen.
