I received an email from PayPal Inc.com saying a charge for $189.95 was being put on my credit card for a purchase from John Angels for some Expert Detective Software. I do not know who this is and I certainly did not authorize this charge. The transaction ID 20433666fg486722n. An email to the paypal.inc.com did not go through. I ordered two (2) copies from internet "The Video Store" of 1964 Classic "Where Love has Gone, " had one sent to me in Chicago and another to my sister (who loves this classic) to Peoria as a surprise gift. The movies arrived in their correct DVD casing, but the contents were Cinderella Roger's and Hammerstein. This is totally unacceptable to me and the humiliation really angers me. Ordered a product 12/18/2006. Their site advertises a 7-10 business day shipping guarantee. When I called today (01-02-07), they are telling me that they have until 01/09/07 because their contract with the post office is for 15 business days, not the 7-10 days that they advertise. My mother never had a payment issue with Peak5 until July 2009 when there as no payment taken out of her account. We were never notified that the company went out of business. When I purchased the hardware to be a Ooma phone customer I was advised by Ooma, in writing and verbally, that it would take 3 to 4 weeks to port my phone number.This cost me $40.00. Its been over 8 weeks and still no phone number porting.I have contacted them at least 5 times and get the same run around and a future tenative date for the porting. When we first purchased their system it was satisfactory. We could expect upload speeds of 194 on the average and 775 on the download this was acceptable. Then after a 8 months we started having eractic speed tests finally we were told it was not our equipment or theirs except that their satellite was now over crowded so for 8 hours of every day we would be getting below minimum speeds because of every one on the system. I tried to call the customer service phone number and was put on hold and at the end the recording says "that extension is not available". Ron Baldwin is one of the most dishonest people I have ever dealt with in my life. You will get a call every month or so, describing some sort of a delay due to cash flow because of the credit card processor, or production problem or shipping issue.
