Laura Spawn charges $49.99 for a 6-month subscription to virtualvocations.com, which lists work-at-home jobs that are listed for free on other Web sites. Then she automatically takes money out of your bank account for renewal without first notifying you about the bank transaction so that you can, first of all, make sure there are sufficient funds in your account, and, secondly, give you the opportunity to cancel your subscription before the renewal date. Her automatic-renewal-without-advance-notification policy caused a financial hardship for me and my family, and yet she refused to give me a refund for the subscription renewal that I do not want. read full review »

Order placed on 12/31 and no tracking number provided, no answer or busy phone and no response to email. I found this page on Wed. and have been reading everyone else's reports and want to thank you all for sharing -- you are not alone!! I have filed dispute with my credit card company and they have given provisional credit and now they can track down the merchant. (I did not pay through pay pal).

This summer an impoverished young man was going door to door selling magazine subscriptions in our CT neighborhood.
Destiny Sales cashed our check and to this date there is no sign of the magazine.
I hope others scammed by this bogus company will report their experiences to the proper authorities.

We purchased our English Bulldog, Maya in May of 2009. When we purchased her, we were told that there is no history of hip displaysia or knee problems. We just spent $1400 on Maya's first luxated patella surgery. Olga told us to wait on the problem (why, so she could tear her ACL), and that she would grow out of it. Olga overbreeds and then lies to people that buy the pups. It is horrible! When we tried to work with her about it, she said that she would only take the pup back. Why? So, she could put her down? A DP sales person who was contracted out from Pacific Coast Services broke into my home and stole a blank check which they then wrote out to DP Sales for $647.00. What kind of pressure are they putting on their "sales" people to make sales? What kind of background checks are they preforming to prevent this kind of criminality? Early this year I received a call from Crystal Vision offering very low prices for ink cartridges for printers. I paid 19.99 by American Express for an initial membership charge, and was told this would become a credit for my first order of printer ink.
I bought one ink cartridge recently as a test, but by the time I'd paid shipping the cost was about 2 dollars less per cartridge than Best Buy or Staples' prices.

There have recently been numerous occasions which I have found myself repeating a question to ChaCha and either a) not getting an answer at all, or b) getting a very incorrect answer. I linked to buylowauction.com from overstock.com and had received an email from overtock.com about trying this site. When I got to the buylowauction.com site it asked for a credit card to purchase "points" to place bids. What I didn't realize was, once I hit the enter key it actually charged 159.00 to my account. This website claims to provide access to all manner of public records. When searching death records from the 1930's in a specific county kn Wisconsin, it provided no death record earlier than 1972. The Birth records from that same county were comprised of submissions from local folks who wanted to post birth dates of their ancestors. Buyer beware! My car(HYUNDAI, 2003 SONATA) had problems with rotars, power steering, and fluid lines on Thursday (7/22) and dropped my car at this service dept on 7/22. Absolutly the worst company to work for!!! You will be treated like a dumb ass, even though I have had more experience that many of the management persons with in the company itself! We purchased our 2002 van this summer and it has less than 50, 000 current miles. My husband was driving 70 MPH and without any warning the transmission blew up. He is lucky to be alive. It was one of the scariest things he has ever experienced. Since we purchased the car used from a Ford dealer we were never informed about Chryslers extended warranty. The enclosed letter says the money back guarantee doesn't include the shipping, but I am going to dispute the entire amount since it's not even close to what was advertised.

I purchased a 37 inch Phillips Magnovox LCD TV less than 1 year ago. The powerboard went out on it whihc was covered under warranty. However it took almost 2 months for the powerboard to come in from Phillips Magnox as imagine this they were back ordered since they have it go out on so many of them. I have tried to solve this telephonically and via faxes, but with no success.

they automatically set caller tune for free, but i dont need that one
