Marriott's cancellation policy is the worst in the industry. They charged me the full length of a stay that I canceled on day one. Ordered a pair of Uggs on Dec 10 and my bank account was immediately was charged for the sale. Website stated that orders placed after Dec. 9 could not be guaranteed for Xmas delivery. I did get an order receipt around Dec. 16th or so. But it's now Jan 21 and I still do not have boots. Have sent repeated emails with no response. Unfortunately made purchase November 9th, and my card was immediately charged for the purchase and it is now November 22 and I have recieved nothing. I had a person hit my car, no police came so I went to the station and filed a report. I then called the other parties insurance, 1st Acceptance and filed a claim. Travel Partners accepted our Time Share as part of the agreement with the Platinum Program sold to us (plus a payment of $3, 700.00). This Time Share was to be filed in August of 2006 and has not been done as yet. Maintenance was promised to be paid by Travel Partners (Betty) and has not. This leaves our credit rating in jeopardy. We waited for Travel Partners to show for a court arbitration and they were a 'no show'. We again have a court date for February 16, 2009. When you buy tickets to an event (I bought mine through TicketTurbo), be aware that Jeff, who runs Windy City Roadtrips, doesn't have the tickets he is selling.
