On Friday, October 2nd, DYFS was alerted to two minors (ages 6 and 10) being home alone for hours after school in a house with no way to call out in case of emergency due to a lack of working telephones in the home. I saw these posts and I felt someone should speak for the accused. I have been a contractor for Assured Asset Preservation for almost three years (even when they were Sole Stones). They have treated me with complete respect the entire time. Sure i have been cut on invoices but, that is my fault for not following thier requirements. I lost my card and they charged me $25 to replace it. They did not tell me there was a charge for lost cards when I called it in. Also - they charge you to pay your bill online. After legally taking a leave of absence, including signing all of the necessary papers, I was not informed that if I chose to then not return back to the program that I would be subject to an exit fee. We had a three year contract with Moneris Solutions to process our MasterCard and Visa payments. One of the medical associations that we belong to offered us a better rate to perform the same service. The sun direct services are worst in bangalore. We get on the tv screen that there needs to be some fix in our dish antenna. The service is to be provided free of cost. On July 10, 2006 we ordered a replacement receiver due to issues with the original. We were told we could install it ourselves, but elected to pay the fee to have it done by a professional technician. The earliest date for installation was 8 days later. This company runs the classic moving scam - they quoted us $750 for a one-bedroom move from Vancouver to Toronto. The front end customer service was great. Things quickly go downhill once they have your stuff, however. We ended up paying $2500 (Capital would not release out belongings until we paid in full), our delivery was over three weeks late and a lot of our stuff was badly damaged (no compensation, as their contracts have fine print that makes the deductable consistently higher than the value of goods). I own a landscaping company in Dallas Area. I maintenance Exxon accounts through Level 1 Maintenance. They called me out to fix a sprinkler head and turn the water off. I get out there, and it is a busted pipe. I gave them a price on fixing it. They did not like my price, so they had someone else fix it; but they refuse to pay a service fee for me coming out and getting the water turned off by the city, and finding out where the water was coming from. When promoted I had to put in the card number in order to speak to anyone which was a sneaky way of getting me to activate card.
