I am a gold card member since 1964 for the last 6 months my A.E. gold card account has been less than 1000.00 per month. When I tried to charge a cruise cost 6050.00 to my card A.E. refused. I worked for this company during last summer while taking a college class. I never received my W-2 form. When I inquired about it they wanted to charge me $10 dollars for a REPLACEMENT W2, I tried to explain that I did not loose the original and never received it but I am now having to send them the fees to get the W-2 in order to file my taxes within the timeframe. No other place that I have worked has made me pay for my W-2 if I never received the original, I even have had it faxed to me. I was new to the country when I got suckered into this credit card. The card has a bunch of fees on it when you get it. I made a mistake of paying one of my bills on it (in hard economic times) and I am still paying for it. I forgot to make a payment one time and I remembered on the day it was due and they wanted to charge me 11 bucks for making a payment over the phone on top of my payment.
