When I checked my bank account online I had been charged $31.98, given a phone number and a ID number for customer service for an identy theft protection plan that I knew nothing about. I just tried to buy from Video Direct Ft Lauderdale Florida. I have never seen such a lack of customer service in my life. I placed my order and sent my money (not done via credit card). Terrible experience with carrier air conditioner warranty services. Company is using third party services for maintenance (Aarkey Eng in Guragaon). Technician visited the place, identified the fault and identified that PCB is faulty and told us an estimated bill of Rs.900/-. When we told him AC is under warranty he said replacement will take 3-4 days due to company procedure.
