I ordered the "free trial" from the book club. I didn't like the condensed version of a favorite author in the 1st book and decided to cancel. I sent the book I didn't want back immediately b/c I didn't want any excuse to be billed. Instead, I've been billed ab $30 for the book I returned. There is no direct contact info. I purchased the above product on Nover 28th, 2008 for a Christmas present. On Christmas day, it was open. Initially all seemed well but the unit indicated rechargeable battery low. So as per instructions the adapter that came with the unit was plugged into the wall and it seemed the unit indicated charging. On 12/27/08 I checked into the Quality Inn and was supposed to check-out on 12/30/2008. We were forced to stay here due to a package "deal" we purchased. Fraud Protection has charged me $4.95, Identity Theft Prevention charged me $9.95. I cancelled my subscription with them in late November, and the charges were in Mid-December to Late December. They gave me a cancellation number/code, and told me that I would "No Longer" be charged by them. In the end, they charged me. Mail carrier put other people's mail in my box and gives others my mail. When I received my "Good Faith Estimate, " there were a whole bunch of fees that resulted in sticker shock, it was not honest. There is no doubt that there are fees involed in refinancing, but if you want to do business with them, hire a lawyer and cross check those fees.
