I bought a computer from them in 2001 - at the time i lived in NYC, but from Cleveland. During xmas holiday I came home and had them fix my computer, instead of installing a 80mg HD drive they gave me a 40. Regardless they fixed it. I paid for trial product online; making sure to decline ALL additional offers made on the website. I received the trial products, but there was NO information in the packaging or on the bottling. My daughter is a patient of the physician's at Cornerstone Pediatrics. The last three times we have visited the pediatrician, the receptionist has been involved in personal conversations and has been far to busy to recognize that my daughter and I were waiting. This company says that you can cancel your account with them whenever you want, without any questions asked, but most of the times it takes months until they cancel your account. They usually ask all kinds of questions, trying to convince you to stay with them. Also, awful to its employees. It exploits young people overseas and has them work for $100/month. Continues to bill after repeated phone calls and even after I filled out their form to stop. My banker said this is Illegal and charges can be filed. To those who have not already done so CANCEL YOU CC or DEBIT CARD Accounts IMMEDIATELY !! Notify your bank, they will send you out a different card and account number within days. Conair-store, the online store for Conair products, will tell you they will ship your product "standard shipping" and will charge you a percentage of your purchase price. Their definition of "standard shipping" is nowhere to be found on their website. After many months of stress, I decided to us this company to get me back on track. 8 months later and $5700 dollars down the drain nothing has been fixed. I was told by the nice gentlemen on the phone that the first 3 payments was my fees and then a monthly fee. Now I am told that it is 18% of my debt which in turn shows up to be $6000 in fees. Unauthorized $14.95 monthly charge from Blair showed up on our Mastercard for 6 months before we caught it. It turns out that after making one online purchase at Blair I clicked a box for a $15 off coupon on my next purchase. This company charged my credit card for $78.84 without my authorization. I received NOTHING from them, I ordered NOTHING from them, and they provided NO service. I believe they got my credit card number when I ordered a "sample" from Acaipure. Interestingly, FOUR other companies with different names have charged my credit card without authorization. They are Acaipure, Easybodydetoxonline, Fit-Fac (which I think is supposed to be a health club) and Mastercleans. I believe this is nothing more than a group scam. My husband and I were visiting Fisherman's Wharf and we stopped in World Camera, Inc. for filters for my camera. I had a nice older digital 35 mm. I am a current customer of Vision Systems LLC unfortunately. I live in Boulder ridge apartments in Apple Valley MN. I pay Vision Systems almost $50 dollars a month for 50 some channels and I don't get a cable box. But the worst part is: Vision Systems only offers ONE option for High speed internet. 1MB down and 384kb up for $45 a month. This is an absolute rip off when compared to Comcast, Charter, and other cable providers who through you can get up to 12MB a month for the same price. Thats right!!!
