I have been charged $87.13 for a free trial that I paid shipping for...I did NOT authorize any other amount from my checking account. I am a professional w family insured by an Aetna PPO. I have a particularly agregious example of what has become the norm in the insurance industry and that is claim denial by default. Recently Aetna denied coverage of my 6 year old daughter's annual well-care visit. The reason? Apparently we had only allowed 359 days between appointments and they look for "12 consecutive months" to have elapsed. Same experience as previous complaints. I opted to receive free magaines, paying only shipping for a years subscription. When the year was up, I received NO notofication of renewal and my credit charge was automatically charged in December 2008 for renewal subscription which were over the market calue..for example charged $33 per year for a magaine when it was avaialbe for $10 on-line. Received an email offering a free trial of slim shake if I paid for postage (4.95). There is a large button located in the center of the website page to accept the free trial offer. I thought I was accepting the trial offer but afterward was billed 88.97. Once you press the trial offer button you are taken to a second page with no other terms listed. Yuk Communications is the most incompetent company i have ever dealt with in my life. I ordered their home phone service on july 18 and canceled on july 28 because they did not send any technician after asking for one 3 times! Then the bills started pouring in monthly for a service that was not functional and i called them after every bill to remind them that i canceled the service. Hi I applied for a loan modification back in July 2008. It took them 3 months to contact me after calling them serveral times. In October 2008 I was in the middle of doing a loan modification. In November 2008 I found out that the person I was dealing with was laid off & my file was never completed. This is not fair. I need this loan modification. Warning to those planning on installing a gas heating stove, and dealing with this business in particular. What began as an annoying experience of endless repairs and unreturned phone calls, ended with finding something more disturbing.
