I have bought hundreds of complete systems and countless parts from Equus for many years. There have been very few errors -- and only during the most hectic periods. Problems have always been resolved quickly. Equus also does one thing which has made me a loyal customer for these many years -- they keep system pricing current. Avoid these guys if possible. When I called to confirm an order I was told the lens was a manual focus lens and was talked into spending another extra $100 that I could ill afford to get an auto focus lens. This more expensive package contained items I really didn't want, but after listening to the same spiel at 3 other of these NY based photo shops I gave in (unfortunately) and purchased the higher priced package. I ordered an accessory for my digital camera from EPC-Online. They sent me an immediate confirmation e-mail. They shipped the product the same day, and sent me a tracking number via e-mail. Had a coupon for duct cleaning for 39.95. The tech. came into my home and stated he needed an additional 60.00 to cut holes into duct work to get access to the area he needed to clean. My husband spoke with him over the phone and we agreed to this additional price. Bring out total to 99.95. I have been receiving a invoice for goodhousekeeping magazine subscription which I never ordered or received, so I kept throwing away the invoice. Today 02-17-2009 I received a letter telling me, my delinquent account has been brought to their attention for collection, it goes on to say when we agreed to bill you later they expected me to forward payment. I never received or did I want this magazine. This time there is no phone number to call them to resolve this matter. I was just charged $29.95 for something at a website that I never visited and therefore never puchased anything from . I did, however, request a "free sample" of the Acai berry supplement that was advertised on Oprah and authorized the shipping charges of $3.95. Nowhere in the disclaimer did it mention an additional charge of $29.95 for this "free" offer. Watch for this company WWW.ShoppersDiscount.com. Why with so many complaints is this still going on? This company is scamming people, I paid $10.00 a month for 14 months before I noticed. I never use this card, I was just making monthly payments to pay it off. Now it is paid off and I got a statment with a $10.00 charge. This company is very evasive to replace repair or handle any complaints from you after purchase.They will not acknowledge Emails or any internal requests for defective parts.Employees will not give you their last names, they will tell you they are going to send you what you are requesting, in my case a front wheel that shakes so violently its dangerous to ride.All response from the fraudulent company officers names are unledgable to hide their idenity.Complain to your credit card company, I got a reversal of charges, they got a recharge... read full review »

It seems strange for the school to send out a letter to everyone saying that the new cameras were installed at the middle school inside and out to hold the children and staff accountable. Are they having problems with the staff? Are they having problems with the children that the staff couldn't get off their ass and go stop? The money could have been much better spent on books and classroom supplies for the classroom budgets that keep getting cut. I signed up with Debtco back in 2004, they have over 9k of my money. Enough money to pay off my credit card, which is what they were suppose to do. I can not conatct them, so I sent a demand letter as advised in another blog. The credit card company is now calling about there money, but Debtco has there money, not me. What should I do? Who can help? I have searched for a actions against the companies; debtco/acushield, do I need an attorney.

I stopped to get gas at 9:30 this morning at the above Getty station. Every sign on the pumps and on Huntington Pk. listed the price of 87 octane gas at $1.93 / gallon. When I scanned my credit card at the pump, the price on the pump said $1.97 / gallon. I went inside to ask why. The 3 men inside were very rude. They said the price was going up. What has happened with cigarettes is completely un-acceptable. There is no reason that we should have to take this lying down. These new FSC cigarettes are supposed to make it harder to start fires. Well, it is NOT harder to start a fire when the fire falls off of your cigarette and into your lap, carpet, sofa, etc. And the taste? Disgusting! There used to be nothing better than that first cigarette in the morning or after a meal, however, that cigarette now tastes awful, makes me dizzy and causes me to feel nauseated. I want to say that if you are selling a product that most likely will be for children it should be durable for them. We purchased a 200 game (guitar Hero World Tour Bundle Pack) for our son and two days after Christmas is was broke. It was knocked down or torn apart. It's just broke. During 2006 I heard Dr. Joy Brown of WOR Radio endorsing Mr. Mike Naples and his The Zone Delivery on the air. I was impressed and ordered this service based on her endorsement. That was on 3/17/2006, and paid in advance for a full months food delivery the amount of $1083.34.

Cricket is charging the undersigned with a $3 charge for paying my phone bill on time. I pay my bill at the Cricket Store where I bought 2 phones.
They don't mail you a bill. They don't even provide you with an invoice upon paying cash at the store.
When I question this their answer was; " if you want an invoice, we will charge you .55 cnts for doing so".
So they just hand you a receipt.
On the other hand, I am charged $3 for paying my bill on time.

I received a Sealy Waterbrook mattress from Costco a month ago. It is still emitting an overpowering stench of chemicals, and I'm waking up with breathing difficulties and stinging eyes. The odor is so strong that you can smell it from the hall leading up to the bedroom. I contacted Costco, and they said that they will replace it with the identical mattress, which will likely outgas in the same way. I purchased the complete set of 'The Outer Limits' then new series on January 17, 2009. I received them on February 14, 2009. When I started to view them, I found many episodes missing and in the wrong order. Also on many of the DVD's the menus would not work to allow you to select which episode you wanted to view. In these times of recession, how can the credit card companies take such advantage of their customers!! I can barely pay the minimum payment, but I do pay it on time and they still hike the rate way an above the callof the fair act. We need to stop this type of criminal behavior. I want to be a part of the class action suit against these companies. How do I do that?

Astar rang me with an offer for a holiday deal to florida and after being aggressively pursuedive i gave them my debit card details telling them i was unable to afford the charges they required but i was told they would take it from visa credit however on receiving my bank statement they have taken 900 american dollars out of my account and i am now in terrible debit as i need this money to live on. I signed up on grantnow.com. I reviewed the information and decided it wasn't what I really wanted. I had recieved a confirmation email saying I had 7 days to get a full-refund. I called on the 6th day and was told that it was company policy that I could not get a refund since it had been more than 3 days. Every time I called back, I get the same indian girl and am told that all supervisors are busy in a meeting. I am calling my bank today to put a stop-payment on the fee.
