I purchased a car from Toyota and got a $225 FreeGasCentral card as part of the deal. I have been sending in $100 worth of original gas receipts every month starting August 15, 2008 through February 23, 2009. I sent a note in each month reminding them that I have received nothing yet. The most horrific online shopping experience I have ever had. I ordered airsoft items described as "in stock" and they were happy to accept my Paypal payment. I look at my bill and this, The Easy Yellow Pages, Inc. had been charging me 14.95 since June 19, 2008. I called and asked what was this charge and who authorized them to charge me. They said that someone entered my phone number to claim a free laptop. I never entered my number for a free laptop and I know that nothing is free. Received a bill from NCC for $458.48, or $160.47 discounted asking about an overdue phone bill from Gulf West from 1997 (it's 2009 now). Called twice asking for more proof of the bill and the amount, they told me the last 4 digits of my SSN, but offered no proof of the amount due. I saw the advertisement online for a trial bottle of Acai Bery for $5.95. The product seemed to be backed by Oprah and Dr. Oz. I ordered a bottle which never came and 15 days later I was charged $88.62. A week after that I was charged $94.57 for an additional bottle, which did come in the mail. Bought Ethos to improve gas mileage and decrease car pollution. Also as part of their attraction was to pay them $5 and receive gas vouchers. These were to be redeemed along with $100 in gas receipts of one particular gas brand per month. I was to receive a $25 gift card for each month's redemptions for a total of$100 plus my $5 back. When I signed up for pioneer telephone long distance service I was thrilled to have such a reasonably priced service that was only billed for minutes used. They offered 800 numbers as well. Great!
