I think the FICA scoring system is a scam created for the credit card companies. Example; Me and my wife paid off and closed two credit card accounts, this was due to there high interest rate. We then opened a new account with lower rates and better benefits. I booked a one night stay through Marriott.com (not Expedia or Travelocity), and a week in advance of our arrival tried to cancel the reservation. I have learned that Marriott will not cancel online reservations any later than one day after the reservation is made. I spoke with reservation persons at both the Bethesda property and the national chain, and was told repeatedly that nothing could be done. This is the weirdest cancellation policy I've ever encountered in all my years of business travel (here and abroad). I just recieved a registered letter in the mail yesturday. DRI is telling me I owe over $900 for fees and either to pay or sign over my timeshare to them. My doctor ordered a perscription for me to be filled at Walgreens. When I went to pick it up they only had part of the amount ordered. Received a mysterious charge on my credit card for $129.99. The merchant was listed as 1F ID SECURE 888-3449406 CT. When I contact my credit card company, I was alarmed to find that the customer service person immediately knew of the company and said that I probably signed a promotional offer of some kind without even realizing it. I have been trying to find the correct dept for ins claims, The collection dept keeps calling me, I faxed them the info they need to fill out in order for the ins to pay them, they will not do it, I even supplied a fax number for them.
