I paid off an account with Equity One after they put a lien against me in the Circuit Court of Newport News. The account was paid in full and lien released on 3/10/2005 however, Equity One never sent the court a notice that I satisfied this account. Bought a car from JD Buyrider. The car broke down about every 3 or 4 months and I could not afford repairs so they had me bring it to a specific mechanic and then added repair costs to my loan. After paying off the amount of the loan I checked on the balance and still owed more than the original loan was for. I could not keep it up so allowed them to repo the car. I hired a car from Value Car Hire (also called ASCO) and was involved in an accident with a cow in the north of the country. DON'T RENT FROM APARTMENTS MANAGED BY THIS COMPANY!!! This company is not paying out security deposits to tenants that are legally owed. Over the last two and a half years Ive had so many problems with my vehicle that I bought new in Aug 06.
