When I dropped it I ask about my refund on what I had paid they informed me it takes 6 or 8 weeks to get the refund. Now this seems a bit much as they bill in advance if I waited that long to pay my bill what would happen, I feel sure they would have disconnected it all and paid me a visit for non payment. Due to a job change we have AVMED, I went to the pharmacy to renew a prescription and AVMED refused to cover it. They say I need a form filled out by the doctor. I have run out of the medicine and in pain. I called AVMED and asked for help and what I should do. They recomended I go to the ER. It is insane to not authorize a needed prescription, to contain costs, then recomend the ER which will be thousands of dollars. Likewise my condition is worsening which may infact cost more. Front desk manager Frank Cortese refuses to offer any relief for us. Probably he is following the RULES!.
