Took a trial offer for $1.95 plus shipping. When trial arrived an invoice was inside saying product would be shipped at $83.95 if not canceled within 14 days. We called and wanted to cancel the order and got someone who could not speak or understand English. After about 1/2 hour later they did say it was canceled. However I just looked at my on line bank statement and 2 withdrawals have been made for $83.95 and $88.90 which I did not authorize. I called the company today (Nov.4, 2009)and they said they would reverse the charges. If they don't I will contact the Better Business Bureau and the Attorneys General of their state. Trureputation.com are passing themselves off as a SEO company. I had them do Optimization for my website which was doing better then than after they did their work. Now I have to pay another company to take their spamming, stuffing and irrelevant text off my website, so that will be another 5000.00. I have not complained about a company before and have been in business for many years, but Tru Reputation take advantage of companies and are filled with excuses why their SEO work fails. I got a letter stating that our request of automatic payment on our vehicle loan was processed. It also stated the name of a credit union we never heard of, in which it is going to be taken from. First of all, this request was never made by us. Second, we have never heard of this credit union. Also, the rep told me she could not fix this mistake today because we have a payment due soon. The final straw was today. Ever since M&T bought Provident, whom I banked with for almost a decade, I have had expensively bad and unethical service. M&T took over and NEVER annouced their fee structure and raised it w/o informing me, their customer. They did away with Provident's lockbox checking practices that held money that had pending transactions against it, decreasing the liklihood of overdrafts. We have been tryng for three days now to an EPP code from Aplus.net so we can transfer our services to another company. When I tell them why I am calling, they put me on hold, connect me to different operators and then they just finally hang up. I have also tried their online chat and they disconnected from me. Money was taken from my account £149.40 after I had cancelled this product as it did not work. i was advised by the opertator that i had cancelled within agreed timescales and would not be debited. when contacting them as been debited was advised that not cancelled within agreed timescales and that the trial states the date ordered and not date shipped. I have worked this out and was still within agreed timescales and they are refusing to give the money back.
