Not only did I get ripped off but five other hurricane victims were ripped off as well. My mother and I took a cruise with Royal Carribean Cruise Lines in May of 2006. Ordered a new lock set for my motorbike, chased 4 weeks later, when they still hadn't sent it to me or called me to pick up. They then said that they couldn't supply it and I'd have to bring my card back in for a refund. The dealership is 30+ miles away and I was unhappy about making an unnecessary trip. I was having my walls insulated when the worker drilled through the BT line. He rang up his office and informed me that they would pay for any damage and repairs. Monday November 2nd, 09 at about 6 pm. I drove into the tire, oil change department to get a battery changed on my car. I had my car engine on while the store personnel checked the availability of the battery. After a few minutes, I was told to pick up the car in 15 minutes. I came back 15 mins later and was not told till 10 min after that the store did not have the battery, and "We can't get your car to started". That was not the worst part. We bought over $2500 worth of furniture in October 2008 from Ashley Furniture and there were two perks for buying. One was a $100 prepaid visa card and the other was $500 worth of gas. I had to file a claim with the better business bureau to get the visa card. We have yet to receive one cent in gas vouchers. I recently bought a 2006 Jeep Liberty from a used car dealership, I'm still paying on it, I've had it since Jan 2009. So far all 4 windows have stopped rolling up and down, they have fallen to the point where you have to take off the door frame to get the window to come up yourself. ALCC American Language Communication Center charged me $999.00 plus $95.00 (administration fee) on 10/30/2008 in order to proceed to get my Student Visa. According to their Refund Policy (available in their Website) they will return the Tuition 100% refundable if I return the complete I20 Certificate of Eligibility along with proof of denial. Please, allow 4 8 weeks to process the refund. I sent my car to this company to have my cambelt fixed on my renult scenic, after being quoted £750 plus vat. They said it would be a 15 hr job. They have now had my car for 11 weeks! I made a claim for a single farm payment from the Rural Payments Agency which I was entitled to. In accompanying liturature from the RPA I was informed that prior to the claim being processed I would be informed before the deadline that I would be advised of any errors in the completion of the form.
