I contracted with Ruperts Home Improvement, Rupert Smart, to install a new roof on my home on 5/1/09. I gave the company half the cost for the roof, $4, 372.00 plus $475 for the disposal bin. I advertised 4 tickets for AC/DC Concert at Hampden Park in Glasgow through the Online Ticket Exchange. I received an EMail from them to say that my tickets had been sold for £80 each and to despatch them by Recorded Delivery direct to the purchaser, which I did and also checked through Royal Mail that the tickets were delivered. I was advised that I would receive payment directly after the event had taken place (30th June). When putting in my info on city and country, I was very dissapointed to see that Canada has been omitted from your list of available countries and I was unable to sign up. Hired Robert Carpenter to build a handicap ramp and repair/build deck. Paid services up front because he didn't have the funds to pay morgage. Built ramp but, didn't finish. He didn't finish screwing the boards to decking or preasure wash or seal the deck or ramp. also paid in advance for repairing or rebuilding stairs gave $900.00 for building materials that weren't purchased and $300.00 for the purchase of new air compressor. We moved in april to myrtle beach from virginia. We moved most of our thing ourselves. We had the moving company do two rooms of large items all new stuff. They came and packed ur up and said they would let us know when our things would be sent. We had next day servise. We didn't see our things for over a week and when they got here not one or two things were messed up everything that was put on the truck was badly damaged. I am living in US for more than 3 years and I have updated my address and phone with President choice at least 10 times. Still they call my previous phone number back in Canada and leave me message. Search Tix.com charged me Twice the amount of face value for my WWE tickets. They will tell you in the fine print that there will be a service charge, but not how much, until it is too late. I wound up paying $635.00 for tickets worth only $300.00. When I found out how much more I was paying, and called for a refund, "they said they could not not help me even though the tickets hadn't even shipped yet. You need to know that if you are searching for jobs as a merchandiser or mystery shopper that there are other legitimate sites. Shadow Shopper will give you a 'trial membership' at a very low price and then take $60 out of your credit card account for the full membership - and you will likely never get a steady job out of them either. I was not notified until I saw this on my credit statement. They have over 700 complaints with Better Business Bureau so this is a red flag on their conduct with customers. On Feb. 11, 2009 I signed a contract with LOA for 36 months. I had read on the internet of an LOA gym not too far from the area closing its doors just a year before and even questioned the sales associate about stability and was told they were doing well with membership and not to worry. Customer Service staff at the Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights (Macomb County), Michigan are rude and unfriendly.
