I recently returned from a trip to the Dominican Republic. I stayed at the Oasis Hamaca hotel. It was a horror. 1. Not given the room type requested but told that they would the next day 2. I purchased this steam iron the middle of October. I didn't use it until I was visiting in New York. When I tried to open the water inlet door on the iron it wouldn't open. We bought policies from this company in July of 2006 thought the better of it and tried to cancel our policy the first time in June of 2007. I installed the Spyware Doctor with Antivirus on 2 of my computers a bit over a month ago and shortly thereafter, my internet stopped working. It took me a while to figure out that the cause of the internet failure wasn't the router, but the antivirus software. Once I uninstalled it, my computers were fine. When I asked for a refund from PCTools, I was simply told that the 30-day limit for refunds had elapsed; however, they had "now canceled the automatic renewal for your license". I received a call about renting my week by Resorts International. It sounded like a wonderful deal. Brian said that they have a 95% rental rate and that I would receive the full amount that they rented my timeshare for. They charged me $1370 for this service and I have never received a single notice or call about anyone wanting to rent it, nor have I received any money and it has been 2 years now! Company "fixed" a recalled part of my refrigerator. Since then the fridge doesn't work correctly. Every 4-6 weeks it stops working, and I lose whatever food I have in freezer and fridge. By now it's a few hundreds worth, plus all the pain and hassle to defrost it before it starts again. The Maytag company refuse to take responsibilty for it. Every year many people turn to HREO.com to find properties in the Hamptons. The site to say the least is a joke, slow, bad set up and ugly. But, it is the only site that has all the listings. I ordered a couple of parts from the NYCEwheels.com website. A few days later I was notified that my parts were both on back-order. I was given the chance to cancel but decided to just wait the additional 2 weeks or so. Later I learned, however, that my order was just canceled by the company with no further notification to me. On March 1, 2008, I placed a down payment on a 1998 Subaru Forester with Loan Officer – Tisha. Unfortunately, SS Auto was unable to provide an interest rate and the bank would not loan the money unless I purchased an extended warranty which I did not ask for nor did I want. I was scammed by the Natural Source Store. When I saw the ad for teeth whitener, it said that it was for a 14 day risk free trial. All I had to pay was shipping and handling, so I ordered. I received the product on the 13th day after I placed the order. Then on the 15th day they charged my account $78.95, claiming that I didn't cancel my membership within the 14-day trial period.
