On Jan. 22, 2011 I ordered the Pro version of the Abcoaster. On Jan. 23, 2011 I was hospitalized, in ICU, due to a heart attack. I was unable to call in time to cancel my order. The abcoaster was delivered on Jan 28, two days after I returned home from the hospital. I called Abcoaster to arrange for return of the unopened box and was given a Return Authorization Number. We purchased a Zenith projection TV. After almost $800 in repairs and countless calls and faxes to Zenith, they would not repair the set because it was out of warranty -- 16 months old at the time. I am VERY frustrated with Intuit's Merchant Service. I overlooked the charge that was coming out of my checking account on the 3rd of each month. We tried the credit card with Merchant Service and could not get it to work AT ALL. We filled out the form and sent it back to them. The service had two months "free". Beware of the Bob Fitzgerald expired listing program. Bob's sales staff are targeting top producing agents around they country. The sales pitch is that they will call all of the expired seller listings and for sale by owners in your area and set appointments for you. The promise is that you will take 10 listings in 90 days. I was told that they pre-qualify all of these appointments and I all needed to do was basically show up to the appointment they scheduled and sign the listing agreement. Purchased a MTD snow thrower and in two weeks the auger started to crack. After two more uses the crack developed into a two inch C shape tear. An auger should not be made of flexible plastic. The operator’s manual states the machine has a two year warranty. I contacted MTD to get a replacement part and they stated I had to go through a repair dealer to correct the defect. We ordered a dining table and chairs back in March of this year and were assured that it would be in on May 18th, today. When I go to pick it up, because pick up is faster than delivery, there are 4 chairs but no table. I'm told now that the table is on back order and I won't be able to get it until June 30. We have been waiting since March 28th. They said I could pick out something else while they had the wear house man move the floor model to the back room. I called the toll free #866-640-7628 and spoke to Cody. This charge is a monthly membership fee for free towing, etc. Per Cody, I received a $10 check in the mail -- I don't remember. Well they were around long enough to take my hard earned $2800 and turn me onto a paralegal in New York for another $250 and to no avail. I was directed to their site, VIA an ad on craigslist, where it said "get your CNA certification here". Before I purchased their course their customer service was great. I was emailed back promptly and they vaguely answered my questions. We purchased 12 Queen Anne style Anlin windows from Jack at American Vision Windows. When the windows were installed six of them were wrong. They open the wrong way. The Fry's salesman talked me into Norton Ghost ( I knew better) by telling me it would do a "mirror Image" back up of my entire hard drive. After installing I found out it would not! For the past two days I have had problems getting logged in to the Weight Watchers website to record my food consumption as part of their on-line weight watchers for men. I called their 800 number and talked to a representative who advised me to get rid on cookies that might be affecting my logon. I used Norton 360 and got rid of 44 cookies, but this did not help. If I try long enough I will eventually get in, so I think they have more traffic than they are set up to handle. This Safeway (Harper's Choice) is not a bad store... the lines are always long when I am there but that is not the complaint. Every time I go to the meat department, the men that work there try to talk to me... it is a bit creepy to be watched and stared at. they will have a conversation with any female there so i know it isnt me. can they be any more obvious? We purchased a Lane sofa leather covered recliner Summer of 2009. We immediately had problems. The underlying material on the sofa began to 'bunch up' on one side of the sofa. We called our dealer who called Lane to get the problem resolved. Lane refused to do anything until we wrote a letter to the credit company stating we were not going to pay for the sofa until the problem was resolved. I bought a $500 gift card so that my grandson could take a cross-country road trip. He was using it for hotels and gasoline. After a few fill-ups the card wa rejected by a hotel. They could see money available still on the card but it was blocked! Every time he filled up his little 10-gal gas tank (about $30 worth) the card would block off $75 for four days. I'm in the UK and tried to buy a certificate for a friend moving to the US. At the end of the process I was charged $5 for land delivery of the certificate to a US address, despite the fact I do not have a US address for it to be delivered to. I wanted everyone to know that I just received a phone call from Ballantyne RV in Victor NY (where we purchased our extended warranty for our camper) I was informed that signet is going out of business. I was also told that they may be going bankrupt as well. In a nutshell, I will probably not receive my 1650 dollars. I was told to still contact the Attorney General, maybe they could do something. I dealt with Kevin Walsh at ext. 330 at America's Health Brokers. He told me that the coverage was 70/30 (70% covered by the insurance and 30% covered by the patient) on the Plus plan. In addition to this they offered cash pay outs depending on the service. After getting the benefits package in the mail and reading it, there was NO mention of any 70/30 coverage. I needed a phone number. PhoneAgent runs an internet service promising a search for $1.00 with a guarantee to refund the $1.00 if they do not have the information. This turns out to be a credit for another search. In addition, because I chose to try the service for $1.00 (instead of the one time use fee of $4.95) they automatically enrolled me in their monthly service for $18.95 with the provision that I could cancel by calling within 7 days (small print notice). I parked in the lot by my school, University of Houston-Downtown, with a valid surface lot parking permit. There were many other vehicles with similar plaques on the rearview mirror, however, my car got booted.
