On Jan. 22, 2011 I ordered the Pro version of the Abcoaster. On Jan. 23, 2011 I was hospitalized, in ICU, due to a heart attack. I was unable to call in time to cancel my order. We rented a car trough the internet via Transavia and pre-payed it at home with iDeal. Arriving at the desk of Holiday Cars at Gatwick Airport we found that they did not give us the car before we gave our creditcard. We do not own a creditcard so we did not get our car. We pre-payed euro 234, 00 with iDeal. If we wanted another car we had to pay again for the rent of the car and an additional 250 pounds for surety. Very dishonest, the pictures of bouquets posted on their site are fake. Paid over $100 for a Mother's day bouquet and she received 15 stems of mixed flowers. HonestFlorist.com say if you contact them within 4 days if dissatisfied, they will send another arrangement. Never happened. I emailed them and they email a generic email that had nothing to do with acknowledging the complaint. Purchased a MTD snow thrower and in two weeks the auger started to crack. After two more uses the crack developed into a two inch C shape tear. An auger should not be made of flexible plastic. The operator’s manual states the machine has a two year warranty. I contacted MTD to get a replacement part and they stated I had to go through a repair dealer to correct the defect. We ordered a dining table and chairs back in March of this year and were assured that it would be in on May 18th, today. When I go to pick it up, because pick up is faster than delivery, there are 4 chairs but no table. I'm told now that the table is on back order and I won't be able to get it until June 30. I am senior citizen and well respected. With the economy as it is there are no jobs for older persons. I have fallan behind on my mortgage, not because I am lazy but because Midland continues to raise my payments to an unrealistic amount. I have tried more times to contact them on the phone but am hung up on by a "little whinny girl that I am sure did not want to be disturbed while playing games or talking to her boy friend". This Safeway (Harper's Choice) is not a bad store... the lines are always long when I am there but that is not the complaint. Every time I go to the meat department, the men that work there try to talk to me... it is a bit creepy to be watched and stared at. they will have a conversation with any female there so i know it isnt me. can they be any more obvious? We purchased a Lane sofa leather covered recliner Summer of 2009. We immediately had problems. The underlying material on the sofa began to 'bunch up' on one side of the sofa. We called our dealer who called Lane to get the problem resolved. Lane refused to do anything until we wrote a letter to the credit company stating we were not going to pay for the sofa until the problem was resolved. I bought a $500 gift card so that my grandson could take a cross-country road trip. He was using it for hotels and gasoline. After a few fill-ups the card wa rejected by a hotel. They could see money available still on the card but it was blocked! Every time he filled up his little 10-gal gas tank (about $30 worth) the card would block off $75 for four days. I received a letter today dated January 25, 2011, advising me that my "delinquent account" has been assigned to their office for collection by Midland Funding. The amount is for 2, 321.79. First off, I do not know who Midland Funding is. Second, they tell me I can use a credit card to pay them! They ask for five payments of $185.74. They sent this to my married name. The law firm of Salehi & Associates was recently retained by a client who, upon opening a Bank of America account, received a letter from Smart-Step Protector Insurance claiming that he had enrolled in one of Smart-Step's insurance policies. Salehi & Associates is investigating allegations that Bank of America improperly divulged personal information to third parties and/or that Smart-Step improperly obtained said information. For the past two days I have had problems getting logged in to the Weight Watchers website to record my food consumption as part of their on-line weight watchers for men. I called their 800 number and talked to a representative who advised me to get rid on cookies that might be affecting my logon. I used Norton 360 and got rid of 44 cookies, but this did not help. If I try long enough I will eventually get in, so I think they have more traffic than they are set up to handle.
