On 12-13-10 I contacted RGB Cases to make some drum tour cases for me. I talked to Rey Borja and he was very nice, understanding, and eager to return my phone calls and emails right away. It took about a week or so for us to get everything in order. He gave me a date of when they would start, and that was it, I thought. I figured when they were done, like any business offering a service, they would contact me. Nope.
Rey Borja said that their average turn around was 2 weeks and asked me if I needed them in that time. Being a nice guy and not in a big rush I said not to worry about it. Logically thinking that this meant if it takes 3 weeks, ok whatever. Well, I never heard anything back. I'd write an email, but then Rey Borja would get back to me, have some excuse, ease my worries and that was that. But then the same thing. No update. Email again, same thing. Then FINALLY a month ago after another email that I had to initiate, Rey Borja says it's been shipped out. I ask for a tracking number. No response. I email and email and email. Nothing. Finally after leaving a message with the "president" of the company, Rommel Borja, both Rey Borja and John Cayabyab (that's what it says on the website) call me back. John Cayabyab was actually nice and gave me the tracking number I had basically been begging for for weeks. Rey Borja also said he was sorry, and gave excuses about some mix-up. I didn't really believe the story too much, but whatever, my cases were on their way.
Well, the website for tracking seems to have the wrong information. It said there was only one case in the shipment. This was a few hours after John Cayabyab emailed me the tracking number acting apologetic. I message him back asking if the cases are somehow in the same box, or if there are two separate shipments or what the deal is. No response. Again I emailed and called multiple times, with no response. Not even from the companies "president" Rommel Borja. You would think with things on their website stating "We conduct our business with the highest and most responsible business ethics" and "We strive for satisfaction of product quality and customer service" they would be a little more involved instead of flat out ignoring you. Finally about 2 weeks ago, a delivery truck shows up. I get a call saying my case was here. I ask if there are two cases. Nope. Instead of being happy, I become angry. I go to where the case was delivered and look it over. It looks nice, seems to be the right size, and I'm excited just to have this one finally. Then the excitement fades and I am back to being upset that my second case is nowhere to be found.
Again I email and call and email and call. Finally, somehow, I get a call from Rey Borja claiming that they have no idea where the second case is, but that there is an identical case in their shop that they will ship out to me that day. This was two weeks ago from this post. It took the big case 3 days to get here. Again, no tracking number, no response to emails, calls, or anything. I've left two messages on Rommel Borja's phone, two on John Cayabyab's phone, one on his cell phone, and at least 4 on Rey Borja's phone. Nothing. Continuously nothing.
It has now been over two months since I started this process. I needed these cases over a month ago. Completely unsatisfied. I just don't understand how you can smile in someone's face and be so nice and receptive and then ignore them. Why would you choose to go this route with your business?
Today was it for me. I finally decided to dig a little deeper on them and I find multiple complaints about this company, all stating the same problems I have been having. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau in their area, I will be getting in contact with my credit card company, and I will be talking to my attorney. It will probably take some time, but I will get this resolved. If this doesn't work, I will go and knock on their front door, and wait until I find someone who works there cause this isn't acceptable.
Please, anyone who has had problems with this company, past or present, get in touch with me. I'd like to know what you had to do to get everything settled, or what is currently happening with you and this "company".
