We recently had to get forced into public sewer. We had a well but unfortunately, a new development was made for wealthy people only. J H Freed was contracted to do the job. They not only did not honor the contract but also, did not do any grading or emptying out the septic tank. They were quick enough to cash the check and get their money! It has taken our company almost 1 month to receive a order placed. We have emailed the company 4 times for tracking Numbers and where told the order shipped, which by calling Fedex it did not! Then when they finally sent the order after requesting a refund on our card due to non shipment it was shipped to a different customer! We ordered an Equator #375S refrigerator ($1300+ w/tax and shipping) online through Universal Kitchen and Appliance in Studio City, California around July 23rd, 2005 to be delivered to our home in Northern California. I used an online reunion service this morning and was disappointed by their business practices. You sign up for either a 1 or 3 year service agreement and pay with a credit card. What they don't tell you is that if you click on any additional links on their search page - you are charged additional money. I visited BrakeO on Cobb Pkwy on 9/22/05 for advice on why my brakes were squeeking. I had just had all four brake pads replaced. The BrakeO representative advised I replace my back pads with a higher grade and that would stop the sound I was hearing. My brakes are still squeeking. I took out AAA car insurance on June 8th, two weeks later the underwriters called to take a survey and go over the policy. EVERTHING WAS FINE ACCORDING TO THEM. The remote sensor of our 5-year-old 32-inch Proscan TV broke TWICE within a year. I received a letter from my existing mortgage company who stated "according to the terms of my mortgage you are required to maintain insurance coverage for your home from windstorm and hail". Upon reading my mortgage, it says nothing to the fact. I am in the process of paying off this mortgage and the existing mortgage company has placed "forced insurance" for windstorm / hail. 6 months ago we purchased a $185K RV that had 10K miles on it and it has never worked well! I had my email under Direcway for 4 years until somebody, without my consent and without amending my service contract, switched it to "Hughes.net." Now I cannot relay email, nor can I use another ISP to receive email. Under Direcway, I could use a local ISP which was on all of my stationary and internet accounts. I am totally misguided by the misleading advertisement of HP about its printer HP Officejet Pro K 550. The design of the printer is hopeless. Brainless design, mindless manufacturing and dumping on the customers for their fate. The printer jams more frequently. It takes its own sweet time for the print to come. On 6/4, while I had my Kitchenaid range on the self clean cycle, the oven stopped working. The fuse blew and the timer on the oven went out. When I replaced the fuse the range top worked, but the timer remained out on the oven and the oven door remained locked. I sent Kitchenaid an email that day and followed up with a call the next day. I was contacted by a Superpages.com salesman who lead me to believe that I could try Superpages for three months for the $15 per month I had been paying for a Yellow page listing. I purchased a duet washer at Lowes on 9/05. I have followed all manufacturer's instructions for the care of my washer. I have a septic tank odor coming from the water that washes my clothes for 1 month. Have followed Whirlpools recommendation to resolve the issue but did not help. I ordered two AutoCool solar powered fans for my car via the website autocooltv.com. Even though I opted-out for the shipping cost of the "free" cup holder caddy, they were shipped. The total charge for shipping was $7.95 for each unit. Making the order a total of $45.88 for two $14.95 products. The company is not refunding the shipping so by the time I return the units for a refund I will have spent at least $20 just to find out that if there are any truth in advertising laws they don't seem to apply to this product which lowered the temp in the car maybe two degrees.
