I purchased a refurbished Sony CD Clock Radio from E-Cost. When I received it, the CD player did not work. I called to get a return authorization and was told I had to go through Sony's service department first. I called the number they gave me and it was constantly busy. I finally found a working number on the Sony web page. I was told to ship it back for replacement, but that I would have to pay shipping costs. E-Costs fine print on warranties either refers you to the manufacturer or tells you the sale was made "as is" and they make no warranty to the performance of the product. While in Vegas, had transmission serviced in 1996 Trans-Am. Dealer used method of forcing new fluid into transmission by pumping through cooler inlet and outlet under high pressure, causing seal to blow in transmission, leaking fluid badly! This is confirmed by my dealer in Cerritos Cal, when I returned home.

I ordered a Sony digital voice recorder from Etronics last OCT through Amazon.com. It did not ship for 3 days and after I finally received the package the recorder had been already cut open.
They had made a half ass attempt to RE-wrap it with some packing tape. I emailed them the next day and their response was "We open ALL merchandise to make sure all the parts are there".

On August 19, 2006, I purchased a 1999 GMC Suburban, Stock #K-6954 from Krug Auto Sales at 3919 Col. Glen Hwy. Beavercreek, Ohio.
The cost of the truck was $7300.00, which was paid for in cash.
Unfortunately, the product has not performed up to standards due to several required repairs within the first 3 months. I am disappointed because the car has required me to pay over $2000.00 in repairs since I purchased it from Krug.

In October of 2006, I rented a car from Alamo in St. Louis for a short vacation I was taking with my 3 year old daughter. While on the vacation, we returned to our car after exploring the art museum.
On the windshield of the rental car was a "parking violation" for expired registration/plates. I contacted the Alamo roadside assistance. Black & Decker used to mean quality in home appliances and you could feel good about purchasing their products. This Quick N Easy food processor is garbage.
Cheap, poorly manufactured plastic pieces and nobody gave any thought to the "convenient" spout which spews product all over the counter when you try to use it. Maybe if you had a container the size of the kitchen sink to catch whatever you're trying to shred...

I had a HP 517 digital camera that would not take more than 3 or 4 pictures before the "battery dead" message appeared and it shut down.
Sometimes turning it off then on again would "revive" it. Using regular alkaline AA batteries would't work - they caused the camera to shut down when I tried to take the very first picture. I called HP and after holding for quite a while each time, I had to talk to 9 different people in 3 sessions, most who's command of English was marginal. This is an apartment complex. The quality of service is terrible. The maintenance staff aren't dependable and very slack on their job.
The apartment manager gets stressed out and very defensive when you report problems in your apartment. She doesn't care as long as it doesn't affect her. She has used money for the complex to fix up her apartment while the tenants' apartments are in bad condition. I was the seller through Tupperware, and this person purchased from me. I sent the item a little late, and the buyer filed a dispute with Paypal. Paypal gave them their money back out of my account, but I had already shipped the item to them. So I appealed the dispute with a shipping tracking number, and I won the appeal with paypal because I had proof of delivery. I rely on sending my work out through Click N Ship because standing in line at the post office is just as bad. At the present time I have racked up approximately $148.50 in unprinted labels because their website just freezes up. What this amounts to is 9 times I tried to get the postage and it froze up and the 10th time it worked. BUT THEY DID MANAGE TO CHARGE MY ACCOUNT EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Every call is picked up by an answering machine where I am asked to state my name, phone number and order number, so someone from customer service can look into the problem and return my call. Since November 2006, I try to contact them asking for the delivery of the BBQ, First they told me that they will not deliver before January 2007. Now they don't answer any phone call. The brother of the owner, P. Bovard, told me that his brother has filed for bankruptcy, but the records of the bankruptcy at the San Bernandino Bankruptcy Court does not confirm it as of January 12, 2007.
