SunSetter Flagpoles
I bought a Sunsetter flag pole with a 5 year written warranty on defective parts. When my pole would not operate, I contacted Sunsetter, who advised me that they would only allow me 20% towards replacement parts and the cost of the parts would greatly exceed the cost of a complete new flag pole. There was no mention of reduced coverage over time in the written warranty, and it is now reasonable to charge more for a spare part than an entire new assembly. read full review »
Circuit City / HP Computers
Circuit City in Timonium Maryland and HP computers.
I bought an $1800.00 HP Laptop from the Circuit City in Timonium Maryland more then 6 months ago. They offered a $150.00 HP mail in rebate and a $50.00 Circuit City mail in rebate. After waiting 4 months and not receiving either rebate I contacted the rebate center for both Circuit City and HP. Both claim they never received my rebate. What are the odds that both did not receive it. Sounds like they did not plan on receiving them.
They both told me that the rebate had expired and... read full review »
Nafco / Domco Vinyl Strip Flooring
We recently bought Nafco / Domco vinyl strips and laid them in our bathroom. When we purchased the strips, the person where we purchased them from ask what type of floor we had down and I told him solarium. He said it would be ok to lay the strips over our existing floor.
He did not have the glue recommended on the box but sold us SAFOT 380. We used the 1/16" X 1/16" X 1/16" trowl so we would not get the glue too thick. That has been two weeks ago and the floor feels tacky and glue continues to come up through the cracks. We... read full review »

RaidenTech.com
Ordered a blimp with remote camera, no way could the blimp fly carrying the camera which needs a battery plugged into it, that I tolerated, but the camera did not work, when asked for a replacement, received responses, need your order number, kept sending it, it was like a canned email response, no satisfaction.
Do not order from this place, there is a reason why they are so cheap, they sell junk and won’t back up what they sell. read full review »
Bank of America / Travelers Advantage
TRAVELERS ADVANTAGE and Bank of America: Fleecing the Public
December of 2006 I called to close a credit card account which I had not used in several months. I was told that Travelers Advantage had charged $115 to the card. I had no recollection of ordering or ever using their services, and said so. The customer service rep (my notes say Kantu B) directed me to Dispute Resolution. Debra cancelled the membership and keyed in "had no idea." She told me I had a "zero balance." The transaction ID was WT31057125.

PeopleLookup.com
I am extremely dissatisfied with the "QUALITY" of people lookup services currently on the internet.
I used to be able to get addresses, internet addresses and phone numbers free from several lookup services. Now, although there are many more such services, almost none of them provide useful information free and some of them want an up front fee before they tell you if they can supply any information about a specific person. In a very few cases, they say there will be no fee if they are unable to supply the information you need... read full review »
Lexus of Reno
Lexus Customer Service and Lexus of Reno
I recently purchased a Lexus RX300 that now has 85,000 miles on it. Just last week the transmission went out. Aren't Lexus' supposed to be dependable and last longer than many of the vehicles out there? I was told by two individual mechanics and by Lexus of Reno, that it is uncommon for the transmission to go out on a Lexus (a $40,000 vehicle!!!) this soon. When I asked Lexus to assist me with the repair costs they declined. Elizabeth, from the Customer Service Department, was very rude... read full review »
Pergo Accolade
I am hoping that someone can help me in finding out if a class action lawsuit is the way to go. We built a new house last May (2006) and had a large amount of Pergo Accolade installed. Immediately upon moving in the floor began "cricking" and "snapping". The flooring retailer (whom our builder chose) filed a claim with Pergo, they sent a rep out and determined it was a faulty product. The floor was replaced. Almost immediately afterwards the floor began making worse noises, more cricking (although less of that than before... read full review »

Well let me tell you this is not true. We have had nothing but problems since this bike was purchased. After only driving this dirt bike 8 times, the frame broke and luckily he was not badly injured. We have sent many hours and a great deal of money on repairing this bike.
The worst now is the dealer will not stand behind this product and repair or assist in getting this bike issue resolved. read full review »

I just ordered several trousers from this company who, by the way advertises heavily, in the American Legion Magazine and many other popular mags. The material or trousers, jeans, was thinner than a regular cotton shirt. The material was so thin it reminded me of the throw away clothes you use for painting. The buttons did not snap. One of the pockets was riveted to the outside, so you could not use it and yes, I had to pay $13.00 to return the items. What a scam.
