I bought an HP Pavilion Notebook computer in October 2006. When I turned it on, the back light on the screen didn't work and the screen was black. HP telephone support couldn't help. Open road bought out my mercury dealership, they became open road mercury mazda. This past feb. I called for a warranty item. My complaint is against Hunter Douglas and the product, before it was improved, called Vertiglide. I was building a home in 2002 - 2003 and needed to get window treatments for the 18 windows to discourage vandalism while the interior finish was being completed. I have a Maytag washer and the warranty service sent out A&E. He was not qualified and couldn't even see which fuse in the box needed flipping -- I also had to come to the basement 2 times to reset the red/black button on the outlet as he couldn't figure it out. I was in JACK IN THE BOX in Coeur'd Alene Idaho 8 am although the place had recently been remodeled it was filthy the kind of filth consistent with laziness and neglect. However, they neglect to inform you that you are really signing up for a monthly service and they begin charging 29.95 immediately without notice. I have filed 3 different claims with VPI Pet Insurance only to have all 3 of them denied because of exclusions in their policy. Read the fine print in their policy, there are A LOT of exclusions. I received a Collections Notice from Afni Collections for $69.45 for a Disconnected telephone number that I have Never had. When I tried to call they said they had too many calls and I should go on their WEB Site to have them call me. During my stay at Park District I have come to realize that things are not always like they seem. Charter Communication is the only ISP I can use in my neighborhood and they act like it. I signed up with them in Jan '07 because they were running a "special". $100 rebate on modem to sign up for new service. It was a joke from the get go.
