We purchased a GE labeled hot water heater from HomeDepot. Over a 30 day period, we had 10 days of hot water. GE sent a plumber out 3xs to replace parts several times. GE told me it was electrical. I hired an electrician who spoke with GE and said it was a bad hot water heater and the electric was working fine. HomeDepot said to return the hot water heater within 30 days for a refund. I received a letter in the mail telling me that "Congratulations! You're being upgraded from my Lowe's Consumer Credit Card (which offers 6 months, no interest) to the New Lowe's Platinum VISA (that does not offer 6 months, No interest). Travel Guard insurance was included with a travel package I purchased. My flight was delayed causing me to miss a foreign connection until the next day. I filed for compensation with Travel Guard on return from my trip. Three months later I got a call saying my claim was invalid because the airline was at fault. They said that I could write a letter and include receipts and I may still have a claim. I already had to get documentation from several places including the airline and didn't feel that I needed to jump thru more hoops. I think that this is their plan to wear you down and give up. I called some "Emergency Locksmith" company in the U.S. I guess (because they didn't know where Menlo Park is) and they sent a guy out from Dependable Locks. They gave me a guarantee that they would be able to remove hair on my back (I didn't have that much to start with) - after six treatments they suggested I change to a different laser, at a different location. Like many of the complaints noted, I ordered a Trial of Houdai (sic?) which included a "free" bottle, with the order of one month supply of the stuff (2 bottles). I was immediately bombarded with 3 months supply within the first 30 days and my credit card was billed for this junk at the tune of about $65 for each months supply. Alamo Bedding will rip you off. They do not honor their contracts and if you try to get them to honor your contract, they will say you did not follow their guidelines. Their contracts are deceptive and contradict their policies. I have had some of my lawyer friends look at their contract, and all agree that it is confusing. My complaint isn't with Peter's but with Chrysler. I have had my jeep at Peter's one week. Not because they can't fix it but because they can't get the part to fix it. There is a national "back order" on the part. This is ridiculous. If this particular part is in such demand then maybe it is a manufacturing default and there needs to be a recall. I had my Ford Explorer serviced for an oil change. They have a quick turn time, but they lack in the quality of service. First---they did not check the air pressure in all four tires. Second---they did not vacuum the interior floors. Third---they did not clean the windows. This is all stated in their policy which is supposed to be performed during the oil change. One of the largest credit card issuers in the US, this privately held subsidiary of a foreign bank seems to have a practice of late billing, slow processing, and unresponsive customer service that results in inappropriate assessment of late fees and interest on payments delivered to them on time but not processed in a timely fashion. On 11 August 2007, I received a letter from Values Plus Online stating I had signed up for their services and will be charged $16.95 per month for this service. there was a subscription number contained within the letter. I have never heard of this place and DID NOT sign up for ANYTHING, although they seem to have my credit card information. Their email does not work, and guess what??? I ordered a camisole 6/07 and paid with PayPal. Limage Plus never sent my merchandise and has apparently lied throughout the process. When I wrote to follow up in July they said it would be sent out in 3-4 days. I also left numerous voice mail messages which were never returned. I called again, it is now August and the person said the merchandise had been sent. Obviously not true. Where is the tracking number? Shouldn't a legitimate business follow up on lost merchandise? They charged $149.95 with out consent after getting the credit card number for "shipping and Handling" on a free sample. I was hospitalized for a disability that disabled me to perform my job duties, I was told that I would not loose my job because of my hospitalization, after I was discharged from the hospital that was not the case. The unfair thing about it is that another front desk clerk fired me and there was not a real reason present as to why I was fired and above else the manager did not even know about me being fired and she did not have an explanation as well. My issue as seen below is not only with the failure of the transmission on my 3.5 year old maytag but the lack of service provided by Maytag dependability plus and Metro Factory Service in Dover, NJ. GoVideo / Soyo Model R6530, what a piece of crap. Manu in 2003, quirky when bought new. Picky about DVD+R media brand, sometimes does not work or do anything. Applied a recent update and it croaked. I locked my keys in my car and called Dependable Locks Inc. I asked for an estimate I was given a quote of $39.00 service charge plus $15.00 fee. The dispatcher had told me that he would be there in approx. 30 min. 1 hour later the driver had arrived, it took less than 10 min and he charged me a total of $90.00. When I told him the price the dispatcher quoted me he clarified that it was $15.00 and up depending on how hard it was to unlock. Today I used a manufacture coupon at my local Petsmart location and I was asked to pay the taxes on a free bag. I was told I was approved for a loan with Bowerland Financial in Vergennes Vermont (which is a fictitious address), by Bruno Minyoni. I was told to moneygram $ 1860 dollars to a man named Bernard Vollmer in Jamaica New York and I would receive my loan of $7000. The money up front was to be for the first 5 months payment and the default insurance. Needless to say I never received my loan after sending the money. Both my wife and I (and several of our neighbors) have complained to the store manager of the Jacksonville Beach - Publix Supermarket about the foul smelling fish department. I am a senior person and Chrysler is giving me a lot of trouble. For the past two years I have been getting statements from Chrysler trying to collect from me property tax on a lease vehicle. Giant Carpet Care in Boca Raton, FL. We received a quote from Giant Carpet Care to clean our carpets for $65. They came out to clean our carpets and charged us $139. They also did a horrible job. When I called to complain, the representative was very and ultimately hung up on me. His closing words: "Your god and my god are not the same."
