I am a little disgusted that since they came out with their newer model of gaming system (x-box 360). They decided to discontinue their games for the older x-box. If I would have known they were going to do this I would have bought a Playstation 2. I know this isn't a very high complaint, but running your older gaming system out as early as they did to drive sales on the 360 which went up 250.00 more than the original x-box shows how greedy Microsoft really is. Plus they have had numerous problems with the 360. We entered into a rent-to-own agreement with them in May 2006. Since then, they have harassed us with inspections of the property every 3 months. Our contract states they can enter to inspect twice a year. I also feel that I have been involved with a “bait and switch” tactic with the Dish Network. I signed up with the Dish through AllSat a direct reseller of the Dish network. I was clearly told that my monthly bill for the service I signed up for would be $54.99 with the HD package being free for the first 10 months. My current bill I is $74.99. The Dish network is willing to give me a $10.00 credit after many calls and asking to speak to a manager but it is still not what I was told. I called customer service, came to find out that their real website is greatfunsite.com. I purchased a 1979 corvette from a seller jrmhwinsor (70*) in Omaha Neb. on the 18th of Aug. It was listed as a every day driver in good condition. However the car could not be driven as the battery was bad, the carb was shot and the rear end bearings and bushings were all out. I have also found out the car has a 1969 vin number, a 1975 front end, a 1978 body, with a 1980 rear bumper, and the motor is out of a 1980 camro ss. Pretty much a parts car that cannot be driven. After the 7 day trial, my attempts to stop the automatic payments went to deaf ears. Two of my 'tickets' I submitted were deleted without a response at all. I know a few people that work at the warehouse for Carolina Logistics Services and it sickens me when they tell me how they have to throw perfectly good merchandise away over and over again threw out the day. Here's a good one! This guy comes to our door and says he can get us DSL as fast as our cable internet plus our phone for what we were paying for our cable internet. He calls in the order for their elite service and comparable phone service to what we had. He schedules the connection of the line by the phone people and tells us it is just flipping the switch and no one has to be there for it. Beware from ordering WildBlue Satellite Internet through DirecTV. They have contractors whole install. If you call the installation company to set up installation they refer you to an independent contractor who never calls you back.
