SparkNotes - French Vocabulary & Grammar Flash Cards
March 18, 2008
After having purchased a box of their French Vocabulary study cards and a box of their French Grammar study cards and having taken the time to examine them in detail, I discovered there was an inordinate amount of errors on their cards. In fact, there were so many bad cards that I wasn't going to spend hours reporting them all using their web site (as they suggest). Instead, I asked for my money back. Yet to this day, I have heard nothing from the company, NOTHING! I do not find a phone number on their web site. I've given them... read full review »

Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits
March 18, 2008
My husband and I have eaten at the "new" Popeyes restaurant twice. The first time I had a terrible stomach ache only - but last night I had diahrea 5 times or so. I had terrible pains, and sweats all day today. I don't know what is in the spicy chicken batter but something isn't agreeing. My husband has a much higher tolerance than I do and he also had the same result. I am just glad that we didn't feed my son the chicken. Since he isn't a "spicy" eater he just had the biscuits and mashed potatoe... read full review »

Four Points by Sheraton Historic Savannah
March 18, 2008
To Whom it May Concern My daughter and I recently stayed at this hotel (Four Points by Sheraton Historic Savannah) February 28th - March 1, 2008. We were in town so that she could attend the Farewell Ceremony for her boyfriend who was being deployed to Iraq the following week. My daughter stayed in room 533 of the Sheraton on Thursday night with her boyfriend, the next day at 12:02PM, housecleaning was banging on the door and very loudly announcing that it was past the checkout time. In their haste the diamond necklace her boyfriend... read full review »

Stalking the Soul: Emotional Abuse and the Erosion of Identity
March 18, 2008
On December 30th, 2007, I purchased the book "Stalking the Soul" online. The most inexpensive price listed was $79.97. Since the book had been recommended by Dr. Alice Miller and since the reviews were so "glowing", I thought I would be getting a textbook sized book or workbook-type book. I also expected a very high quality product for that price. What I got was a book that was poorly translated and which had basically no new insights for me. I also discovered to my disappointment that the book lists in the US for $22.00, ... read full review »

Cash Advance Network
March 18, 2008
Cash advance companies approve you have you send all your paperwork and then reject you for lets say no direct deposit. In the ad it never states you must have direct deposit. Cash advance network is a rip off. They need to state direct deposit needed so they don't waste consumers time. If you work you don't need a bank statement, but if you receive benefits they need bank statement and benefit stub. Thats discrimination. read full review »

Got SKY Unlimited
March 18, 2008
I had Gotsky Wildblue Internet service installed in October 2007. First they shipped the equipment which never arrived. They said the installer must have used it for someone else so they shipped another set to my home. I then had to call the installer. The first two modems didn't work so he had to come back another day. Then my service went out Dec. 26. The installer/service tech had quit so there was no one to make a service call. They kept promising me they would find me a service tech rep. After two months no service rep had been... read full review »

Wu Yi Tea Source
March 17, 2008
So apparently my account was canceled a month ago and I just received charges on my card from living lean which is an online subscription. I have never received anything from them. Apparently it is clearly stated in their terms and conditions that when you buy the tea, you are automatically enrolled in the subscription. When you cancel the tea, it doesn't automatically cancel the others. PATHETIC!!! Just stay away from this company!! read full review »

GE Money Bank / Discount Tire
March 17, 2008
I applied for a GE Money credit card to purchase brand new tires for my suv. The promotion stated that I would not be charged interests as long as I make the minimum payments before the due dates on the bill and if I paid the full balance before the promotional expiration date of april 16, 2008. I make each payment by the due dates... right on time. This one payment was paid on time (Dec. 2007)... the next statement (Jan. 2008) even states that it was paid. Do not, under any circumstances, buy the "Lottery Cheaters Guide" advertised on www.lotterycheater.com. It is a SCAM. It costs $55 and what you get is a link to download a "tutorial" that only encourages you to gamble in online casinos and play the UK lottery. It DOES NOT GIVE ANY USEFUL INFORMATION on a method to effectively pick numbers or defeat the odds of the game. Worst of all, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK no matter how much you bug them. Unfortunately, we are having to do a deed in lieu, which means that we are giving the home back to the bank. They are so confused about what we are trying to do. One day they think that we are in a foreclosure, the next a short sale, the next, a deed in lieu, the next, do we want to refinance? It is ridiculous. This company is a farce. read full review »

I think it is very unfair if a person pays their bill all the time and they are late one time and you drop the amount of calls to four calls. I can see if the customer is continually late, but if they are paid up-to-date, than their calls should be reinstated. Especially, when you sent the customer a letter stating that you are giving everyone a $100.00 limit. Then you say that is not in effect and you do not notify your customer. That is not good customer service, even when you are late on a charge card, there is either a late... read full review »
