This customer service department is INSANE! The store and sales staff were great. Then I had to deal with "customer service" in the corporate office within 1 week of delivery. They botched the pre-treatment and refused to take responsibility! I would not recommend H.H.Gregg for any appliance purchase. Their models all seem to be one and two years old. Many of them have major problems within the first two years. The extended warranties are not factory or manufacturer backed. They are held by some GE concern that has no consideration for the customers concerns and frustration at the lack of proper repair and maintenance. The service company that is used in the Cleveland area not factory or manufacturer trained. They are poorly trained on one model and lost on any other. Viapren doesn't work, it’s scam and ripped me off for $48. By charging me with out me ordering. I called my credit card company to cancel. They claim they told me my card would be charged after a 10 day trial starting from the time the order was shipped. They charged my card and sent the same size package as the first one for 5 times the amount and I didn't even want it. It doesn't do any thing. They were very sarcastic and told me I couldn't get a refund of the same value because of restocking, shipping and the package could get lost. So they offered me a $15 refund. On 3/20/07 we went to adopt a cat found a grey female cat that my daughter and I fell in love with. They said she was a year old and spayed. I responded to American Fresh Ducts ad in a mailer for a $75 "Duct Package." They "open, agitate & vacuum the entire duct work under negative pressure." Consisted of 1 man who looked at the job while man #2 did all they work. They hooked up a large vacuum to one duct in kitchen, while using a small canister vacuum to do the rest of the registers. A dispute claim has been filed with my bank, Washington Mutua, l for the above company for deducting 19.95 without my knowledge and authorization. I have been trying to cancel my Golds Gym membership for the past two months and have been unable to. They asked me to send a written request to cancel my membership using certified USPS mail. I promptly did so. Now after a month, my membership has still not been canceled. The reason I am canceling is because I have moved and there is no golds gym near my new house. We purchased the unit as christmas gift for out son, by February it did not work, we sent it back & they replaced the unit, which also does not work. The service at this company totally stinks. The people that you try to talk with cannot speak good English and they have standard answers. My internet download speed sucks 8 hours out of 24. Of the remaining 16 hours, we sleep approximately 8 so that only give us about 8 hours of what is suppose to be quality service. Every day at 4:00 PM the speed drops from the low to mid 700kbps to the mid to low 80 kbps. It stays this low until new day starts at 12:00 AM. I have called at least 30 times and no help. I bought a 26" LCD Tv on black Friday of 2007. I followed the instructions and sent in for the rebate. I received a letter back stating that I did not mail in a copy of the invoice. I recently bought (about 6 mos.ago) a Mr. Coffee 12 cup programmable coffee maker, I went to make my coffee this morning and no coffee! It stopped perking and the heating element went out on it. I just recently read that the mr. coffee plant laid off 390 workers and moved their plant to mexico. This shipping company (EGL - which is now a part of CEVA) lost my plasma television (ordered through Amazon.com), and then lost a second replacement television sent by Amazon. In both cases, they never bothered to call me and tell me they lost the TV, causing me to have to make arrangements for someone to be at my home during the 6-hour delivery window -- for no reason. Their customer service has been terrible throughout. I constantly get inconsistent explanations and false promises about other delivery dates.
