The house that I rented from this company in South Lake Tahoe is so poorly maintained, that it is uninhabitable! It’s filthy. It smells. And nothing works right. Their web site lies. There is no sauna, no game table, no CA king in the master bedroom. The hot tub doesn’t work. Abosolutely nothing works right in this house. In December 2006, a monthly charge of $7.25 plus $.36 tax appeared on my AT&T phone bill for 'voice message monthly fee'. AT&T showed that the billing was provided as a service to the company identified, which was MyTeleBill, LLC. An "888" number was provided if there were any questions about the charge. Right Toyota, of Scottsdale Arizona refused to cover under warranty a transfer case that failed on our '07 FJ on the assertion that it was towed, and therefore it voided the warranty. This, despite the fact that the drive shaft had always been disconnected during towing, and therefore towing could not have caused the transfer case failure. You cannot tow the FJ straight out of the box. You must use a drive shaft disconnect kit. Hundreds are being towed with that same kit, with no problem. In the 2 years we've had our Hoover Wind Tunnel Vacuum, it broke 4 times. 3 times it has been the belt and one time, the self propulsion function stopped working. If you're thinking of buying this thing, don't. It is absolute junk. Hoover offered to send me a $67.00 vaccum as a replacement if I sent them my Wind Tunnel since it was off warranty. It would cost almost that much to ship the thing to them. What a joke. No more Hoover vacuums for me. The last Hoover I had lasted 9 years. A recent commercial shows the M & M characters emerging from a freezer. One says that his "M" has shrunk. The other asked didn't he know about 'shrinkage'... a reference from an adult comedy show "Seinfeld" which reference a part of the male anatomy. This crude attempt at humor is not only dated but inappropriate for children who see these cartoon characters as toys. Culligan charged me for service on a house I no longer own for service I discontinued two months ago. Culligan stated that I signed a 6-month contract, however there are two checked boxes. One states that service is provided month to month and one month notice is required for change of service. The other box does state the term as 6 months, so I suppose I legally have no recourse. Within the past several years, one of my sisters has a few times ordered and paid for several gift subscriptions to magazines from this company (which until recently went by the name "MagSelect.com") for many family members at Christmastime. I was a Telatron employee for two years from Feb 2001 until Dec 2003. I was miserable for those two years working there. That place is EVIL! It is a cesspool. We have had a lot of negative experiences with Pulte's home construction. It seems they have undersized the ducts on our home and not provided appropriate dampers to adjust the airflow appropriately (it would cost about $8000 to repair that, but we have chosen not to do that). The air conditioner failed after only 6 years to the tune of about $6300. The main sink faucet valve broke as well. This turned out to be your typical "Bait and Switch" program. It seems that even when one participates in the "Product Test Program" and receives an incentive gift, or in my case a $50 gift card, that there is still no remedy. I made the mistake of hiring Father and Son Movers out of Jacksonville, Florida to move me from Orange Park (outside of Jax) to Tallahassee, Florida. I was given a time window that the movers were to come to pack up my belongings, which they missed. I had to call the office to find out where my movers were and what time they were coming.
