For over a month I have been trying to get citizenship and passport answers from the Consulate of Italy in Detroit. I have called at least 3 times a week to try to talk to someone. They cannot keep track of customer records and are now being investigated for fraud. From my personal experience they charged my account without my permission and then proceeded to write me a reimbursement check that was dated for thirty days from the date received. This check was for the incorrect amount, and when I called about the amount the only thing that the manger could say is "have your lawyer call my lawyer." I purchased a 52" TV that apparently had a poor light engine. (At a cost of $105 for the technician to advise me of the problem). I have been in contact with Mitsubishi since May 18, 2008 to come to a fair resolution. The cost of replacement is $805.00. The orginial cost of the TV was $3, 499.00. I bought a new car to find out later it had been damaged by the dealership, fixed, and then sold to me as new. I am still, after 3 years, attempting to recover damages. This practice of non-disclosure is illegal in the state of Oregon. The law is narrow and limiting though so this dealership is getting away with this and will continue to use these illegal practices. Regional Accep. Corp. practice unfair tactics. They do use scare tactics to force a payment out of you. Even when you try to get them to work with you they threaten you, call you at work and force you to do any thing, just to get your payment to them. I found a car online at Done Deal .com and went to Villa Park to look at it. I put money down and drove it home. He gave me a Temp Illinois plate and I found out later that was illegal. They now call at least 5 times a day every day. They are now becoming abusive with their language.
