Stereo City charged me almost $2K for rims that I never received. They then provided false documentation to the bank to ensure keeping my money. My wife applied for a job with this company. Oct 17, 2008 they sent a cashiers check for $4998 with instructions on how to proceed. I deposited the check and Bank of America released the funds one day later. They did not indicate any kind of problem with the cashiers check. The check then bounced one more day later. There were several attempts to have these problems fixed and was left out in the cold. well really it was the hot because i just bought my first home and they said that they talked to my girlfriend and said that she said it never worked but the first claim was made in may well guess i didn't need a A/C during that other 90degree weather. Offers credit score but never gives any information and charged credit card for both the dollar and then $11.95 a month on credit card. I had been off for 4 days due to the truck that they sold me I had only been with them 3 weeks. When got the truck back they gave me a load at 1300 that did not pick up until that nite until 2100 the trailer did not get loaded until 2330 and I had to go 400 miles and deliver at 1100 the next day. I was told that there was no long term obligation when I enrolled and that it was month to month. As if that was not enough, I had a heart attack in early 2007 and had bypass surgery. These guys cold called me to ask me to place an ad. Sent down a sales rep named Brady Hall, who asked that I give him cash. I gave him a check instead for $180. He cashed it. Four months later, there is still no ad from the company. I'm in California. I call the company about 6 times, each time I get the run-around. No one knows if I even paid. I applied for an online cash advance. I was automatically signed up for Cash Rewards Central Transformations. I got the loan from B.I.G. Int. and also this other company started taking money out of my account. I was bad enough for the interest rate but cash rewards charged me a set up fee and the next week a monthly fee. This automatically put my account in the red. I called this company and they agreed to refund my monthly fee but not the set up fee.
