I purchased a 50 inch Plasma Philips 1080 TV 24 months ago. Loved it, was very loyal to the company name and product line. Not anymore. OK, we went to the Sears Outlet store in Franklin Mills, PA and bought a new range. It was a few hours from home, but we thought that Sears was a national store and that if there was a problem with it, we could return it locally. The price was OK, not great. I bought a box of Almond Royal for my daughter from a local store at San Jose, CA. After 30 minutes, I came back to the store and asked for exchange. I rented a system from Turning Technologies thinking that TurningPoint was a reliable service. The system provides real-time feedback from people in a business meeting. Well, the technician they sent was nice, but didn't really know his product. The worst part was that during the meeting the system would not work. Sale assoc. charged me for an item that was free, I realized that after I got home. Called the store (I live 1/2 hour away) she insisted that she could not credit my card over the phone and I would have to drive back there. AHMSI clearly has NO regard for individuals. We were ready to close on a bank-owned property that is managed by AHMSI when the latter suddenly, two days before the closing, froze assets without any clear information as to why there was a freeze, nor how long it might last. They have given absolutely no guidance as to whether or not an amend-extend can be signed so that the sale can go through. Thought I signed up for the one annual free credit report. Next month I receive a bill from my credit card company with a MONTHLY service charge of $21.90 from CIC. CIC claims that when you sign up for the FREE credit report you are also consenting for them to charge you monthly for their services. When asked what their services are, they did not know!!! On November 16th I ordered 6 fried turkeys for a staff luncheon for the administrators of my high school. I asked if I could pick up the birds by 10 am on the 23rd so we could have them sliced by the 11 am dining time. Both the employees and myself thought the meat would come ready to carve and eat.
