I returned two blouses to Roamans, both of them being defective. One had a stain on it from the dark brown trim bleeding into the fabric, the other had on unsewn area around the neckline. This company uses its web site and its sales style to make customers believe that their primary business is selling wholesale to dealers and exporters, maybe it is. The public is graciously allowed to make an appointment to cherry-pick the cream only 8 days out of every month. Sounds like a great place to buy a used car, eh? The facts of my story sound so much like the others on this site. I got a message from a man with a foreign accent on 11/19/08 at 1:58PM. I actually drove an hour and a half to their location to pick up a part and they admitted to having 7 of them on site, but REFUSED, even after my pleading to allow me to purchase the $20 part because they are 'an internet company'... not a retail store. Acia Berry Maxx makes it impossible for you to cancel your order. I hadn't received my order after 3 weeks and decided to cancel my order. I tried calling several times but was put on hold and then disconnected. I finally got through to their answering service, apparently at their lunch time, and was told to go to [email protected] and cancel my order. The website does not give you the option to cancel it tells you to call to cancel. I finally received my order and after trying it out it did not work for me. I am currently investigating this company in central North Carolina for sending out stolen or otherwise fraudulent checks to various individuals in my state as well as other cities in the US. On April 7, 2007 I used the 91 Express Lanes without an account. Two weeks later I received a fine for $20.00 which I paid, since I was guilty. I've had NCC clean my carpet several times before, but the last time takes the cake. It looked like the guy came off the street, smell of smoke, then asks to use the bathroom. They work with or for IDCSERVCO of Culver City California to charge you 100 times more than what a product, in this case toner, can be bought for from a valid retailer. They conned one of my homes into believing they were our toner supplier and charged them $359 for a toner cartridge you can get for $35.99 at Office Depot. We took our Grand Prix in for some warranty work. Later that day, one of the service guys called to try to convince us that we needed to give them $200 for a much needed thermostat replacement job. Like many others, I purchased a product not knowing they wrote an 'automatic renewal' in the small print of the terms of use. My girlfriend taken Southwest Airlines from Oakland, Ca to Tucson, Az. When she had checked her luggage with a digital camera, cell phone charger, and laptop charger along with the rest of her things at Oakland. Although I should know better, I let PayPal send them 49.95 for a program that I realize is free, and then realized there was no further link for download, shipping, etc. No confirmation from the company.
