Ordered tape deck from this fraudulent company and paid for with check made out and mailed to Chris Bradley. Merchandise never received, no responses to multiple emails or phone calls (voice mail only, never get to talk to anyone). Called bank to stop payment on check, already cleared. Reported to BBB, FBI and FTC fraud departments, but report only. I see they now have a new website and can only assume they are ripping off a new group of customers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MERCHANT!!! I still have not heard from this company since placing my order 11/22/08. I placed an order for different items from another online merchant the same day and received the items by 11/25/08. I emailed AVD on 11/25/08 to check the status of my order - no response. I called them on 11/25/08 and got voicemail and I left them a detailed message asking for status - no response. On 11/26/08 I emailed and called and left another message cancelling the order - no response. These items were birthday presents for my daughter and caused me to not have the items in time. I used to be a big fan of this insurance company but in the past 2 months they have gone "downhill" I don't know who they are hiring but there has been one screw-up after another. I googled Sony blu-ray players and then bought from the most reasonable site -- Tech Cyber Store. Instructions were to buy a Green Dot MoneyPak from a place like RiteAid as the method of payment. They said they'd deliver as soon as they received payment and I'd have a UPS confirmation number within 24 hrs after that. I bought the item on January 16 and Green Dot says the money was taken from the Green Dot card on the 19th. I submitted an order for a magazine & never received any type of confirmation. On this particular website it states their cancellation policy is within 72 hours of placing the order. This company is scanning people who are in deperate need of a Loan Modification. Back in Oct 2008 I paid this company 3 checks. One for $600., $550. and $550. The first check for $600. was cashed by S & M Loan Modification Services Inc. Since then I heard nothing about the status about my modifaction being processed. I replaced a cunstomers roof due to storm damage. The home owners insurance paid to replace the entire roof approx. $15, 000.00. The fhome owners insurance compny issued a 2 party check with his name and also Citimortgage's name. It took at least 3 weekd for the the mortgage company to send the check back to the home owner. No where in the page where I filled out my shipping did it state that I would be enrolled in any program or charged further. To be honest, I'm kind of losing faith in Sun Microsystems. Google, the biggest name online, has a browser out for three or four months and Java doesn't support it. To get technical or specific or whatever, I'm talking about the Se6 U10 plug-in.
