I purchased tickets online to a concert in California. When I received my ticket confirmation, the tickets were for the same concert in Arizona. The website had the dates switched for the concert. The tickets were purchased 5 months in advance. I filed a dispute with American Express who did nothing to support me. The tickets were delivered to a neighbors address by FedEx and I shipped back to the merchant immediately. I had an atrium installed several years ago and from day 1 it has given me nothing but trouble. It has leaked for the last several years and they have never been able to fix it. During the last several months they have stopped answering phone calls and returned letters. This business had an advertisement on a billboard on I75 that they help women with women functions. I called to see if they were in my insurance network. I was told they were. I arrived at my scheduled appt. only to see the office was locked and empty. I finally walked to the next door in the building. They were like "oh, we didn't realize you were there." Contractor did sloppy work on a colored stamped concrete patio. Several areas of patio were not stamped, but hand-drawn without a straight edge. Color faded within 2 weeks. Where to begin?...I first met the Metro VW people several months after buying my 2002 Passat from another VW dealership in November 2004. We purchased a maghogony door two years ago from AAW Inc.through Capistrano Hardwoods. The doors are on the north side of the house (sheltered) and have faded from red maghogony to a golden pecan color. The company refuses to stand by their product and the dealer, Capistrano Hardwoods in San Juan Capistrano will not help us in any way. I called the 800 number to order a tonneau cover for my truck. I sat on hold for 5 minutes listening to music only to get an option to leave a message. Thinking this may be just an isolated instance I called again 2 hours later. Same experience. I called the company and it appears that they never answer the phone. Meanwhile you go to their website and they brag about being in business for over 10 years and having an excellent record with the better business bureau. I purchased furniture online, total was 1, 753.00 which 65% was supposed to be charged to my credit card. The entire amount was charged without my knowledge or consent. Phoned and emailed numerous times and never received my furniture. Cancelled my order in NOVEMBER and as of February 16, 2009 have not received one cent of my money back. This company is also ShopSmartFurniture.com and apparently uses other names to cheat customers. I purchased a pair glasses for my 10 year old son in May 2008. From: Green Brook Vision Center, Green Brook NJ.The frames were from Capri Optics - (Flexure FX23 46-18 color: Ink). In July 2008, the frames and one lens had to be replaced, when the frames broke and the lens fell out. One lens became scratched and therefore needed to be replaced. I recently purchased a pedometer from this company that on top of the initial cost charges $99 per year for dues. They track your steps online and it is a very good product. However, this company does not have a phone number, and therefore no reasonable way to get in touch with a live person. The website claims that my membership has expired, even though I have in my hands a receipt proving that I paid them in full for a full year long membership. 1st Experience: I needed to adjust my org order. I followed up on my revised order numerous times & everytime I called they were reading off of the org order & not the revised one. Dear ladies and gentlemen, I had used smartfax as a FREE online fax service a couple of years ago in 2004. I didn't even have to cancel, since my free service was automatically discontinued in 2005 and the number was deactivated. I NEVER upgraded. Now they send me a bill 4 years later? Finding out when the items came to me that i would have to put fliers up at different location in order for me to get paid. The company has competitive pricing and they take orders off the internet. You create you own card. You are given no options for font size. It looks good and it appears to be normal font and so you and proof it online. The surprise is when the cards come in they are in 7 point font and it takes a magnifying glass to read the numbers. What is so clever is that you are not given an option for font size. So cleverly everyone gets cards they cannot use and then they have to reorder. They ask you for 2.95 to ship acd to you.. no big deal.. Then 4 days later they hit your bank account with a 39.95 debit. took a bit of investigating to find them. got hold of the customer service rep and shook her to her knees. got a supervisor and threathened to file fraud charges etc. You have to hit them hard. Finally was told I would get a refund and have a confirmation number.
