Letter was sent to me via air mail from Canada claiming that I had been pulled from a winning lottery of five people who were claimed to have won $39, 400 each. I was sent a cashiers check in the amount of $3, 900.oo. I was told when I called the number provided in the letter that I could cash the check by either depositing it into a checking or savings account or have it cashed at a check cashing facility. This was a trial offer and I had to pay shipping and handling of $3.97 and charged to my AMEX. The account was cancelled on april 6th, 2009. When I checked my account, on yesterday, I was billed 79.90, on April 19th and as of today may 2nd, 2009, I have not received the merchandise I was billed for. Subcontractors beware. Do not work for Huff and Associates if you want to get paid on time. They will not and do not pay on time period and when it comes time to collect your retainage you will have to file a mechanics lien on the job and file a claim against their payment bond. They keep the retainage money as long as they can to collect interest off YOUR money. This company took additional money out of my checking account without authorization. I was going through for a mortgage loan modification. The initial interview they needed $900.00 up front. I gave them the authorization for this amount only. After approzimately 40 days nothing was done. I canceled their services on the 13 of March on the 15th thier withdrew $1000.00 out of my account. I am just finding out today (Saturday, May 2nd) that the dealership where I purchased a new car last July, has folded with no notice to the customers. Besides having to travel a good hour now for my services, I have been majorly ripped off on two programs which they talked me into paying extra for through my original contract. We purchased three new cell phones from the alltel.com website. There was a "promotion" going on where the $25 activation fee per phone would be waived. When we received our first bill, wouldn't you know it, there was the $25 activation fee, applied to each phone, totaling $75. After calling the company's "expert advisors", they can't seem to agree on our previous top up dates. Dr. Davis does not know what he is doing. He ruined my nose inside and out. My colummela hangs worse and my nose is more crooked. Not only does it look much worse, but my breathing is not any better and he messed up my sinus drains so I get chronic sinus infections (every month), only after having the surgery with him.
