I recieved a wage garnishment from local sheriff dept. for an outstanding credit card bill. Supposedly judgemented back in 2003 for $6, 700. I have received NOTHING from Cohen & Slamowitz regarding this debt and now they are garnishing my wages for $12, 000 ($4, 500 in interest and $600 in county fee for collection)!!! I purchased a new laptop from circuit city in 2006, in 2007 I purchased the extended contract for 220.00 for 3 years of coverage, now that I need the insurance to repair the laptop all of a sudden they can't find any record of my purchasing the insurance, I have the exact dates, and cancelled checks for the payments for this worthless contract. Horrible warranty service, ended with heated abuse from their service manager. I have an extended warranty which sounds like it covers the entire car but really only covers selected parts. Meadowlands Nissan first insisted that I had no warranty at all, even though I had the same car serviced there under the same warranty a few months earlier. They diagnosed a litany of problems when they thought it was a cash transaction. I recently bought a game from Steam on an account which I have multiple games. The next thing I know, Paypal stopped the payment, thinking that it might be linked to fraud.
