I did everything I was supposed to do in order to submit the rebate, However I didn't get any response from office depot rebate center after almost 2 months and I submitted the copy again, and called the rebate center, and the agent told me it is ok, then on october this year, I checked the status of my rebate, it indicate my rebate got rejected as I postmarked it late! This is a really a scam, as they can claim you never received customer's rebate submission, and when the customer resubmit it you deny it.I feel so frustrated on this 70.00$ rebate, and I called office rebate center, they told me they can't help me! read full review »

I have been receiving bills from Nursing 2008 magazine, published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. I never subscribed to the magazine. I suspect they got my name and address either from my registration at a nursing professional conference I attended this year or from the RN licensure database, which is available from the state where I am licensed. Same as others. Charges on Verizon bill for "enhanced services" ( voice mail ) which I do not have have ; never signed up for; on my Verizon bill. After 20 minutes Verizon rep finally found a # for me to call allegedly for ESBI. No answer there for 15 minutes . Called back and Left v mail message on that # they never called back. Now in 3rd month of charges. New York State Dept of Public Service tells me they forwarded my complaint to the FTC as they have no jurisdiction. Back in September, I ordered what appeared to be an adorable Halloween costume for my two year old son ($40). When it arrived, I was very shocked of the quality and the condition of the costume. It was flimsy and was rolled up into a wrinkled ball. The bag looked like it had been stepped on, opened and restapled shut. I wasn't happy so I called their customer service number and asked them what their return policy was. The range was delivered 1/17/08, it was non working at that time. Convection fan was not working, thermostat was not working, ignitors for the burners were not working. It took dozens of calls and not until March was it repaired. Again in August I started having problems again. The convection stopped working, the broiler stopped working and when you use the oven the smell of natural gas fills the room until the range actually lights. We have been having an ongoing long distance call routing issue for months now. One communications confirmed the issue, but has no solution for it.. They tested and confirmed this on this on their end. The tech slipped up and suggested that this is happening for ALL Legacy conversent customers. I just went to work out at Bodyplex Athens, GA. I have been a member there for over 2 years. The first thing I find out is they have suddenly sold their business or run away from their business as the case may be. While standing at the desk with the unfriendly, defensive and uncoopoerative employees, who by the way seem as panicked and scared as the members, I overhear a member asking if they will still get their $19/month dues rate. On February 27th 2008, I was awarded a $5000 judgment against Joe Nastasi dba The Tub Factory in 3rd District Court Huntington for defective workmanship and material and defaulting on a product warranty for a whirlpool tub. The tub which was warranted for 10 years, sprung a 30" crack after 3 years and dumped 90 gallons of water through the ceiling. Nastasi ignored the judgment against him. Printer is 6 mos old. It developed an obvious problem with the electronic controls.It took 3 phone calls and 3.75 hours on the telephone to convince tech support to provide a replacement under under warranty. I was then told it would take two weeks to get the replacement unless I paid a fee for faster shipment.The tech support people (who spoke with a heavy accent) had no concern about my problems. They informed me that I should have purchased an extended warranty (at about the cost of the printer) if I wanted better warranty service. Afet reading about 40 pages of War & Peace, I turned off the Reader and went to sleep. The next morning, when I woke, I turned on the Reader to continue reading. The screen would not function. I purchased 3 items at Vitamin city to the amount of $34.76. I used my debit card and lost my recipt. It was during a move and did not have access to my statement for a couple months. When I got it I found they had Charged me $347.56. When I contacted them and ask for a copy of the recipt they refused. They have not respnded to the Bank, BBB or Consumer affairs. This is not a small amount and is easily taken care of, prove to me that I spent that much. I would guess they have done this before and has not been picked up. Mrs. April Martinez the saleswoman said that if I did not like the tiles I did not have to accept them. This product is labeled "streak-free" on the front of the bottle. On the back, the information says you will get a "perfect tan". Both are untrue. After one application, I now have the appearance of a tiger with light to dark brown streaks on my legs. When I called to complain, I was told "well maybe it is just streak-free for some people". When I bought this product I thought the set up was fairly easy. As it turned out, that was true, but ONLY when I was connecting to MY desktop from MY laptop on a shared router in MY home. In other words, up to 25-30 feet away from one another. Connecting via the internet was an entirely different story. As I see from someone else, they received a charge on their local telephone bill for $8.43. I called the 800 # listed on my bill and the machine that answered did not identify Green Tree Data and stated a different 800# than what I dialed. After waiting for 2 minutes for an agent they said that my service was activated via their website. I requested immediate cancellation of their service. They said they would cancel the account. I also contacted my local carrier who said I am not liable for this 3rd party charge. I went to the website for GreenTreeData.com and found it totally useless. I am not sure if this is a scam or not. Their correctional facility phone system is cumbersome and user unfriendly. When you have a problem you cannot get a "voice" to talk to. On their automated return your call system, they called me back one hour later and after picking up my phone and waiting no one was on the line to talk to me. And these people market themselves as advanced and creative telecommunications people and their systems are third world. The frustration is unbelievable. You cannot even email them on their web page. We have had Allegheny now since our home was built in April 2005 and they have been horrible!! The power goes out randomly and constantly. The sun could be out with no wind and the power goes out. It's ridiculous. Any time the is going to be a storm, you can GUARANTEE, you're going to lose power for at least 2 days. To top it off, in 2005, we went on the budget plan at $88/month.
