If anyone gets an E-Mail from this CEO (?) called Michael Moore (or whatever he calls himself) don't fall for the scam. Big time money could be lost!!! It involves a network of crooks both here stateside, England and Nigeria. One of their tricks is printing bogus Traveler's Checks that look good enough to deposit to my checking account and was considered liquid immediately by my bank where 10% of this money is discounted and retained as "my salary payment". 90 % of the incoming money is then paid out of my account to an... read full review »

The A List Card
Richard July 2, 2009
This company has a card that they give to every person in a corporation and will put your name on the back for a fee. The company in Wichita was Raytheon with about 9000 employees. The fee was about $500 for this service. They immediately charged my credit card more than was stated and never made the cards and never distributed them. I rejected the charge on my card but they stated that the fee was for a internet listing instead of the card listing. I was scammed and don't want anyone else to be scammed for this outfit. I as well as hundreds of other people nationwide became a victim of this Online Furniture Shopping Scam. The company out of North Carolina called NC Furniture Buy Direct ncfurniturebuydirect.com scammed so many people, and then they changed their name to NC Furniture World northcarolinafurnitureworld.com. They would take orders, take your money and never deliver your furniture. Even if you complained about it, they will never refund your money. The owners Darrel and Russell Buck are now faced with a lawsuit filed by Attorney General of... read full review »

Women named Anna, Annushka, Natalika, Veronika, Maria, etc.. from Vladimir and Kazan and other cities in Russia are posting personal ads on AmericanSingles.com, Friendfinder.com, Singleparentsmeet.com and other sites to lure men to communicate with them. After a few weeks they proclaim their love, and the futility of their home life, having been raised an orphan, and insist that the men send them money for passport, visa, etc.. and an airline ticket. Many men have sent in money. Luckily not the writer of this post! LOL The scam was exposed... read full review »

If you happen to run across a site or advertisement for a site called IMP3 Download, steer clear - it is a scam! The site in question offers free and legal music downloads of over 12 million songs, as well as unlimited DVD downloads, for a one-time fee of $49.90 for both. Well, you know what they say...if it sounds too good to be true... I signed up for the service, and paid them my $50 through Clickbank. Wasn't sure where to post this. For homethreatre enthusiasts beware. Diytheatre.com is a web based company that sells expensive wall paint for home theatre projectors as an alternative to the more expensive projection screens. There are other companies selling similar products like screen GOO which I haven't tried but seems to have a better reputation. Something I didn't know about at the time. Well guys, I've been hit by usavoice.com with a job offer for editor and am scheduled for the conference call on 12/6 and 7pm. I've read the blogs from everyone on this and would like to go thru with it; I guess I'm more desperate for work than I imagined, or I'm a glutton for punishment. Either way, I'm angry, because all I want to do is find a job and work. I don't like that they're mining job boards for people's resumes and personal info like this. I refuse to install a business phone line in my apt; I cancelled one a few years back and don't need it. read full review »

I thought it was a charge of the E-ZPass acoount and I paid no attention. Well I called the bank and made a complaint. They are going to issue a refund, but only 2009.
