I paid $35.00 for Home Depot to come out and measure my porch door to install a fiberglass door. After taking my money and measuring the opening I am told that they do not have a fiberglass door that fits but they can put up a $1700.00 wood door. I ordered a hose for my apartment washer, they sent a plastic hose and it cost me 61.00. I filled out the return order form and waited for this RMA number that is required as well as the address in order to return the part. They never gave it to me. I called up the oil company about the equipment not functioning properly because heating wasn’t working properly. I purchased a Rudd Gas Hot Water heater on Monday, Jan. 22, 2007 that had a 6 year warranty. It was installed by a plumber but now is leaking, we went back to the company that it was bought from which is Coburn Supply Co. In New Ibeira La. , they agreed to give us another one but refused to pay the price for the plumber to reinstall. I think that this is unfair to the customer and the plumber. Ironically Indane Gas has a toll free number, but their Udaipur distributor "Aravali Gas Service" has different opinion about phone service. During working hours you never reach them on phone. Doors not installed correctly. Both doors slam when closed. Holes in screen of both doors. We called Oasis Aluminum, Inc. located in Orlando, Fl numerous times during warranty with their failure to comply. I bought my maytag ice2o French door refrigerator from home depot 8 mos ago. Loved it when I got it, but soon after had problems with the ice maker. They replaced the ice maker. In our location we always face problem of delay in delivery of cylinders, not only me but all people staying here are fade up with delay in cylinder delivery. After getting one cylinder dealer doesn't take our bookings for next 10 days. After next 10 days when we book our gas it normally takes 15 days or more to receive a gas. I don't think in metropolitan city like Mumbai where there is very good infrastructure and transport facilities such problem should arise. They repaired my chimney, their repairs did not work as advertised to me and now my fireplace is not usable as it was before they did the work and I have been told that it may not be safe to use. I am very much vexed up with HP Gas and really feel uncomfortable with gas. There is always shortage for gas cylinders. And the booking system is so worst and badly handled. The line is busy always and we can't book a gas for 2 days till we get the line. And after you book, the delivery will take at least 15-20 days. I have booked gas for 10 days and no response as yet. I have 2 cylinders and both are empty with stupid rules of HP gas services. This service providers are a big failure. Bill Newmann, and Classic House Furniture are horrible to do business with. It's an online store, but based in New Jersey. He is very dishonest and will not follow through on promises. I purchased 2 Bionaire humidifiers (BCM5520RC). They humidify beautifully as long as the filters work. However, the filters last 3 weeks at best using the instructions in the manual and not a moment longer. I wrote to Bionaire, to Holmes (who manufactures both the filter and the humidifier, and to Lowe's (where I purchased the product) advising them that the cost of the filter's are prohibitive to the running of the equipment. When the driver arrived, he was having trouble getting it out of the dump truck, (was frozen or something), and I had to leave to drive my son to work. I purchased a $900.00 set of gas (propane) logs from Ener-G-Tech in mid- November. I needed the logs and a propane tank installed. I asked the salesperson (you must be waited on by a salesperson, this business is not self-service)if they install. He informed me they had a list of plumbers they recommend.
