DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH VACASA !!!!
Extremely disappointed with their business ethics. Made a reservation for rental in Vail, CO few weeks prior to arrival in March. This week got email that reservation had to be cancelled due to scheduling mistake, apparently owner of the property booked same place earlier then accidentally hit cancel and did not noticed it until I placed a reservation later on. They did refund all money, however I am unable to find a good deal for March anywhere else this late into Feb and of course airfare was paid for, vacation time approved from work and everything else was set in place. I've contacted Anna, she was able to offer me a 15% discount for future visit, I contacted Anna again hoping that possibly they might have another property available. Anna said that they will have new property listed next day, which possibly would accommodate my needs. Next day I received a call from Anna confirming new listing and asking if she could process reservation, I asked her to wait for a couple hours because I needed to get everything in line with rest of people who were planning to go. I called back and then Tiffany tells me that it was already reserved by someone else!!! Completely in shock - first scheduling mistake - fine, understandable but TWICE!!!! I could not believe that they would offer me a solution for original cancelation then just book it with someone else! As a customer, I made sure that reservation was paid for in advance and did absolutely nothing to provoke so much problems!!! Spent lots of time on the phone trying to resolve it, then when I've tried getting hold of Anna to see if she would be able to help - she was unavailable! Also not able to contact property owner, either. Bad situation but even more horrible how Vacasa "attempted" to resolve it with new offer, then booked it with someone else!
P.S. The new property that Vacasa offered for solution required longer stay and approx $100 more!!!!!
Don't do business with VACASA!!!!!!!!!!
