Unfair Walmart July 16, 2009
Returning item
The weekend of July 4th we had a family reunion we hosted at my parents home. We did all the shopping for supplies and food at Sam's and Walmart. Within the 2 week period before the reunion up to the weekend of the 4th we spent $1500 at the 2 stores. One item that was purchased on 7/2 was an airmatress for $45 because we were expecting alot of company and may need it but ended up we did not need it. The box was not opened at all so we went to return the item 1 week later and was told it is a Corporate policy and they could not take the item back. We explained we did not use it and the box was not opened and we had the reciept but they still refused to take the item and refund the money. We checked and there are no signs around the department where it was purchased that it is a non returnable item and it is not noted on the reciept that you could not return it. I could understand if the box had been opened but it wasn't. We did all our shopping at Sam's and Walmart even before the reunion. They have a sign at the desk where you return items but who goes and reads it before they shop. They could have a notice to appear on the register when you purchase it to advise the customer that if purchased it cannot be returned or even on sign where the merchandise it displayed that it cannot be returned. My parents also pastor a church and buy all the supplies at Sam's and Walmart. My mom passed up 2 other grocery stores and Kmart, Dollar Stores to get to Sam's and Walmart everytime she goes shopping for supplies and groceries. She probably has spent thousands of dollars between her personal needs and the churchs in the past year and they wants to lose that busisness over a $45 air matress. Walmart is getting way to BIG.

payment
i have been trying to contact a person to talk to about my balance on my ge crediy card but have found it impossible to do.so if i have a complaint who do i talk to?all i get is a recording of my bill which i already know cuz it's setting in front of me.my problem is my balance, ive never been late on my payments, my min. payment is 15.00 dollars and i send 20.00 dollars everytime.on my bill i got this month it says my previous balance was 278.95 dollars.i sent my 20.00 dollar payment in and now it says my balance is 294.25 dollars.that dont make no sense to me.i make my payments, i try to be very good about this and my balance goes up instead of down.who do i call?what do i do? does anyone even care?I DO-------

disabled access
when i came to walmart with my daughter for a few things i asked the door greeter if they had a motorized chair as i had my right knee bandaged from a torn ligament and could barely walk . after waiting about 5 minutes for the door person to finish his personal conversation with a leaving customer i was told there was one at the food entrance . i asked if someone could bring one to the main entrance . the door person called on his radio and told me there was only one person there and they could not bring it and turned his back to me . i limped about 10 feet in that direction then i turned around and told my daughter who was holding her small baby that i wasn't going to walk all the way to the other entrance to get it . i was mad at this point and wanted to leave. i find it embarassing enough to have to use one but even on a good day i hurt very badly after shopping in that big a store. i only do it for my daughter . after this experience i will think real hard about where i can get what i want that is in another store. i think your company should be ashamed by this . i try not to ask much from people but when you are hurt and it is obvious and then be dismissed like too bad for you lady shows the real company spirit.

I went in w/ a bra that I had purchased that was BROKEN. I tried it on removed the tags and then noticed that the adjusters on were BROKEN and the straps wouldnt stay up. I took it into the store and the "Manager" -- whose name was CHERISSE, proceeded to tell me that it was a health hazard to bring it in the store, she wouldnt return it, or exchange it and I was just STUCK w/ a broken bra. First of all, she couldnt have been the "Customer Service Manager" cause no "Manager" should roll her eyes at someone trying to return a defective product. I was so mad. I truely do not return/exchange things and when I notice something it broken..and I paid $$ for it..I expect it to be made right. CHERISSE sucked w/ BAD attitude and BAD customer service. I average about $200-250 a week at Walmart. NOT ANYMORE.

Awful quality products
Beware of this product. Sold by Walmart stores Read my complaint to the company OmniFilter. Hi, Do I have any claim to stand on. My Omnifilter U25 which had been doing a good job in filtering our water here. But last night and thank the Good Lord we were at home, we heard water running. Started looking and found about 4-5 gallons of water on our Parkay kitchen floor. The filter was mounted under the sink and was being used to filter drinking water. I immediately turned off the water supply and started cleaning up the mess. Removing the Parkay floor squares and soaking the water up with towels. After cleaning up the mess, I looked at the filter. The lower part that houses the filter element has cracked in a staright line from top to bottom and right down the side. And of course this is where the water was pouring from. This filter has been in service about two years, bought from Walmart. I really had my doubts about a plastic container when I installed it and won`t make that mistake again. If I cain`t find a metal housed filter then we won`t have a filter. I certainly caint recommend your filter now to anyone. If you would like to have this to examine I will be glad to send it to you. Again, I am only glad that we were at home as the whole end of the house would have been flooded.

Maturnity leave
I went on maturnity leave a week before I had my baby. She was born on May 6. I called the store manager 6 weeks after she was born and said I could return back to work. He told me I would have to wait till they could put me on the schedule, he said call back in a week. Now, I call back and he says that it could possibly be after July 24. Is there some kind of law that would make them take me back before then. I have bills to pay. Please respond

blocking working envoriment
Dear Management of Wonder Bread, I am a proud worker of Walmart & treated fairly. There is however one problem w/ your Wonder Bread by the name of Stacy. He started & encourage to block every vendor& blocking Walmart's working enviroment. Walmart are short on help & we want our working enviroment with maore convince. Would you talk to the vendors please? We also short on help.? Thanks

horribly unfriendly "customer service"
I had a horrible experience with a rude, unhelpful assistant manager who took an instant dislike to me (?) and refused to accepted a bag of recalled dog food. Several calls later AND a letter to the Better Business Bureau later, I got a refund. However, I didn't appreciate her maligning me in her response to the Better Business Bureau. (Oops, I guess she didn't know they'd cc me!)

Since spending over 4 hours on something that should have taken minutes, I no longer go to that location. Had she only taken a moment to educate herself or even look at the printout of the recall information that I brought to her, they'd have one fewer dissatisfied customer. Strangely enough, the stores that I patronize now seem happy to help me when I want to purchase something or even exchange something.

Hiring and HR practices there could use a long hard look.

walmart pre paid credit cards
I bought 2 prepaid credit cards to pay my rent with weekly, and sense i had pre viously bought 2 prepaid i could not list it in my name so walmarts mangement told me i needed to apply for a refund. Sense i had applied for a refund and had 2 cards i haven't seen the money or my refund back, I have a prepaid card i use all the time but regardless i am still out of $8.00 per prepaid card and the $20.00 for both cards i put on them it has been 2 months no refund and i am out of $58.00 dollars that have just diapeared
in the wind some where, everytime i call them to try to straighten this out they swape me around to place to place on the phone
and i still am out of $58. 00 know one knows where the money is, I get the run around on the telephone i feel like i got scamed, and the money is not even on the cards any more and the cards aren't any good either.what should i do ? keep on getting the run arround no matter what i do linda

Playstation 3
Purchased playstation 3 console, 1 game, and an extra controller. Went home and found it did not work. 45 minutes after purchase returned to the store to exchange it. Yes i had the reciept. Was told serial number of console did not match serial number on box. Unfortunately they did not check console serial number when I paid and I did not know there was a potential for discrepancy.

I would strongly suggest folks purchasing a big ticket item, check the serial number of the actual item against the one on the box, and do so in front of the store clerk.

If anyone has experienced a similar problem please let me know how it was resolved. Do I need to have my attorney work on this?
