Rude employees, dont care about customers
Went in on august 10, 10 to print out some pictures. I dont usually go to this store but was close to this area and really wanted some pictures. I was there for a bout 45+ minutes selecting, editing and loading my order. I was trying to add some coupons for the prints, a CD, and some collage prints. I have always used coupons when photos are on sale and have never had a problem. This time the kiosk was not accepting ANY coupon so i just sent it through and then told the photo tech, SANDY, to manually add the coupons via the computer. I wasnt even able to finish my statement when she told me no because i could only use 1 coupons and that is why the kiosk wasnt taking them. I told her the machine was NOT taking even ONE coupon ad that had nothing to do with it. She stated that was a policy even though I told her I had done this in som nay other stores not only in their district but within the state. I was very upset ans canceled my order and left. I did not feel like speaking to manger at that time because I felt like I would lose it. I called back that evening to speak to a manger and he went on to say the same thing. He, STEVE, stated that "all the other stores are doing it the wrong way and they are then the only ones doing it t he right way". The way he said it made it seem like that was the end of it, he was not going to hear any more of it. I asked for district manger number and he said he didnt have it, which is ridiculous, EVERY store has a direct number to their district manager, I know that for a FACT! I called the 1800 number left a message with a person but to this date have heard nothing back. I will for sure never go back to this store or any other walgreens if this is the way they treat customers. I have even talked my parents into pulling their prescription scripts out of there.

Sweepstakes
When you go to the Walgreens website to complete the survey for Sweeptakes, one cannot be found. Several other customers have been complaining about the same problem. Is this a scam or what?

I get on the receipt a code for survey to get a dollar for my next purchase. Try by phone and they say thay have completed the surveys, to go on line the on line it says that you have the wrong survey password if they are not going to accept them thay should not be printed on the receipt.

walgreens $3,000 sweepstakes
Walgreens is a great store to shop at and it has almost everything you need on a daily basis. I love walgreens and have shopped there for years, and will continue shopping there.

RUDE EMPLOYEE
I was at Walgreens in Berwyn, Ill.at Harlem and Cermak shopping, when I finished I brought my items to the register took all the items out of the basket and put the basket next to a register where there was one basket on the floor already, to my surprise the cashier at that register told me to put it back in its place, to which I respond there is one there already, she said oh I havent had time to put it back.Isnt the cashier job to put the basket away, I mean they do get paid to work.They just want to stay behind the counter, glued to the same spot and let the custmer do it for them.I DONT THINK SO.

over charged
They had a unbeavely great sale on back to school suplies with coupons. Two days into the sale, most of the stock was gone. But, at the check out counter, with the coupons i had handed the checker, i was still not given the sale price. I did`nt check the reciept till i was home & now i have to drive another 34miles round trip to straighten this out. In this day & age no one can afford the gas to have to make this trip, Again.

treat employees bad
I use to work at a Walgreens in Texas. I was there for 2 years & had a family problem & had to deal with it. My manager got mad that I called in to work even though my nephew was placed in the ICU. He didn't have a heart at all. When I returned to work to do my job, I was told that I had posted something bad about Walgreens on my myspace. I had posted something about how "I didn't care for my job like I use to due to the lack of heart & understanding within the system." It wasn't anything horrible. So since I was fed up with being pushed around I ended up quitting the next day. It wasn't just them telling me they were going to put me on probation without pay that hurt .. I worked my butt off for that place. Was excellent at my job & was one of 3 other employees that cared about who they worked for. I felt like I got pushed around because I was a college student who worked the cosmestics counter & I didn't have a kid so I didn't deserve respect. Well .. Now I can say out here & out loud, screw you Walgreen's. I hope CVS over powers them. That is all.

pictures
I took pictures in to be developed and the little machine said to come back at 3:30. So I returned at 4:00 and the employee told me they are not ready because the machine broke down. I am fine with that, i am not fine with the fact the employees could not call the customers and inform them that their pictures aren't ready. What is the point of giving our phone number if it is not going to be used? Really bad customer service and after this I'll be taking my pictures to be developed elsewhere.
