Stay away
For all the advertising on TV about the great prices and service on prescriptions I had all my scripts transferred. I was treated rudely and nearly didn't leave the bottles for refill. When I went to pick up the filled prescriptions I was horribly upset to discover they charged MORE than anyone else on all but 1 of my medications. No answers or explanation of sky-high prices and rude service. Walgreens lost me as a customer. They can SAVE it.

custermer relations
It seems no matter when I go into walgreens no matter if I am the only custermer in there the phamacy answer is always the same are you going to wait for this? I say why is that, and they will say it will be at least a half hour or more. I just dont understand why when I am the only one there. This has happend to me the last tIme I will not use the phamacy ever again.

I went to the walgreens in williston, fl today, the store was great and the people was great, but i got my receipt and it said that I could go to it's web site and complete a short sarvey and I would have a chance to win 3000.00 but there is on web site.

Discount prescription plan
You can't let seniors on Medicare use your prescription discount plan. However, I am told that you have no discount card for Walgreens products in your stores that senior citizens can use like CVS and other drug stores do. Why? There are a great many senior citizens in this country who need help buying the products in your stores. Just because we can't use your discount plan doesn't mean you should discriminate against us with the rest of the plan!

wrongful termination
I had to start taking medication in may of 2009 and company policy is: employees have to fill their RX at Walgreens. I take HIV medication and was having alot of problems adjusting to the meds, had to call in sick a few times- got written up, was asked how I got infected, schedule was changed without warning, told to take vacation days when they over scheduled other techs, and finally got written up jan 2010 and fired because I didn't get manager approval to cover a shift, when I was informed that it was my responsibility to cover my scheduled shifts when I started school... I did what the pharmacy manager told me to do. The day I was fired he didn't even have the balls to be present!!! He had his flunkie store managers do the dirty work. What really pisses me off is that I thought I was working with professional medical staff and what I really was working with was a bunch of ignorant, racist, judgmental idiots!

1/19/2010 I went to the above Walgreens and on my receipt it said to take a survey I logged on to the address and guess what!!! no place to take the survey. Whats the big idea?
