shortened on prescription
I went to walgreens on Torrence and had a prescription filled and when I got home I took the medicine right away because I was in pain. I felt better a little better later and I looked at the bottle and the pill bottle was supposed to have had 30 pills in there but when I counted them there were only 12 pills in the bottle. I called the pharmacy and young lady told me to come back and I went back the next day. I received the rest of the pills so I thought when I returned home there were suppose to be 18 pills but were only 17 in the bottle. I also went back on May 10, 2010 and put in another perscription and when I went to pick up the prescription and when I opened up the bag and the bottle had only four pills in the bottle I talked back to the technician and told her asked her what happened to the rest of the pills, that I need a 30 day supply what the prescription had written on there. She asked me did I have a prescription and I told her yes. I asked her to return my prescription to me and my money and that I was going somewhere else to have it filled. I am bringing this to your attention because if it is not looked into next there will be someone who will get the wrong medicine and that could lead to death. I fill the people up at the Walgreen in the pharmacy department are incompetent someone does not know how to read a prescription.

My boyfriend of 3 years and I recently needed the Plan B pill. We are always careful with birth control, but accidents happen, and this pill is designed for just that purpose. When we arrived, however, the pharmacist was not at all professional. He looked at us as if we were horrible people, which did not add any more ease to an already stressful evening. When he asked for IDs, he said, "I need an ID. I don't care. Somebody's. Anybody's." He wouldn't even look at me, he only addressed my boyfriend. He took my boyfriend's ID. He asked MY BOYFRIEND if he had any questions, even though I was the one whose health could potencially be affected. If you are a pharmacist, it doesn't matter what pill you are selling, or what your personal beliefs are. You should treat people with respect and do your job. Even if I were 17 and had just had a one night stand, the pharmacist is certainly not the person to judge my actions. A pharmacist is there for health education and information about potential drug interactions and side effects. So please. By all means. Do your job.

purchase denied
Credit card set up for Express Payment when buying prescriptions has been denied twice now. The latest May 5, 2010. I want to know why?

Photo CD
Today is April 11, 2010. It is going on 3 months since I started contacted Walgreen's about this matter and still no reply.

Does this need to be an issue that only Corporate can resolve? If so, I will send it there.

In 2004 I had a large order of 35mm Kodacolor films developed, processed, index printed and a CD made for all at Walgreen's store #7360. They were of a 3 week trip to Europe, starting with Helsinki Finland. I received all the materials, but did not check out all the CD's as I had all the prints, negatives and index prints I requested. I was at the store with no computer and presumed that the CD's were all OK

This week I started to load my collection of CD's onto a Seagate hard drive storage device when I discovered that 3 of the CD's do not have all the images loaded onto them. I took the CD's, index print and negatives to my local Walgreen's (#3461) and discussed the situation with the clerk. After we looked at the CD's, she fully understood my issue and stated she would discuss burning new CD's for me with her manager. I clearly stated that as the original CD was faulty, no matter what the time length, the replacement CD's should be at no charge. After checking with her manager, she was told that there is a 30 day refund (?) policy and if I wanted replacement CD's they would be made available at $5.14@. I did not accept this offer.

Obviously that is not the reply I wanted to hear. As it was Walgreen's responsibility to burn a full and complete CD of my films, and CD's do not degrade, what is at issue? I might even consider a part payment IF Walgreen's was franchising the shops and the owners were different. But that is not the case.

I would appreciate your reviewing my request for replacement CD's at no charge and letting me know your decision on this matter. I am attaching scans of the CD index prints, the original processing envelopes and negative identification numbers for your information.

3,000 cash sweepstakes
I've been consistantly calling for the last two years the toll free number for the $3, 000 cash sweepstakes survey and I have never won neither have heard of anyone winning. Now when you call the number it tells you that they have all the surveys they need for this month. They have done it for the last two months no matter if you call early in the month or later in the month. Is this a scam?????

poor customer service
i have had, on going for years, a rx filled at this walgreens location. aprox. 170 pills per month. i am in there automated refill system. on 4-10-10 i went to refill this rx, they had no refill ready, & had not one of these pills in there inventory. i was told if i needed this rx filled i would have to go to the next closest walgreens. which happenes to be 20 miles (aprox) one direction away from this location. i could also wait untill monday the 12th & get it filled there. i have to take 9 of these pills per day& don't think i should wait till monday. i feel walgreens is making me be responsible for there inefficiency.they are eager to have my businss & take my money. they promote themselves as a professional & convenient pharmacy to do business with.
when they have a problem like this one, i feel they should be responsible, & do what it takes to correct the issue, not me. i will be going to target or walmart from now on & recommend all how see this do the same.

I had no problem taking the survey from walgreens.On the receip is a survey # and then below that is a password number.I went to the walgreen site and then on that page is a link that says take survey now.I clicked it and gave my survey then gave them my info and was signed up for survey.How is this a fraud and scam?You guys need to chill out and read the whole page.Wish you luck.

First off i want to say i have worked for this ridiculous company for the last four years and this is my fourth store. So i recently moved to California and from day one the store manager has done nothing but pick me apart. From the size earrings in my piercings to how i wear my hair. Now as women, i know you know how it feels when you woke up and your hair just wont do what you want it to so u cover it up, well that was me today. And this man had the nerve to tell me to take it off.(yes i told him no!) And its not like he said please and thank you because he DID NOT! And then proceeded to tell me he's been really lenient with me and that he's not doing it any more. Let me tell you i've worked at 3 other stores and no store manager has ever approached me about the way i dress when i come to work. i came in wit the smallest Monroe earring and he said its not small enough. I came in with black shoes, he complains they're not dress shoes. And then the hair thing today...Never mind on my first day there a customer made me cry; in four yrs no one has sworn at me and this dude took it to another level. I dont know that the difference is between boston and los angeles walgreens and their dress codes but i would sure the hell like to know.

destroyed my pictures
i took in some pictures to be developed in feb. of 2010... yes they were there for 1 month.. when i went to pick them up they had destroyed them... i know from personal expeirence that they have kept pictures longer than that.. those were pictures with my fiance and our children.. our first years together... now those memories are gone because of some pathetic change in the time of keeping pictures...
