Verizon dsl in NH loses connections whenever it rains or storms, they know about it buy do not upgrade their hubs to provide what their customers pay for. There are some hubs still using hand-twisted wires in switch boxes made in the 1950s style. If you want a run-around, try contacting them about it, or someone in regulatory systems. Good luck.
