My husband and i took out life insurance when we where 35 and it ended up with being bought out by Valley Forge insurance co. Talk about ripping someone off they sure have us... they took all our accumulated values in our insurance and gave excuse that insurance went up as we get older... yet when we took it out 24 years ago we was assured it would never go up... that is why you buy it young... Well when they got it we was doped of all monies accumulated and they where adding onto our monthly amount a lot more than we agreed on 24 years ago... so now we have to cancel our policies after 24 years since Valley Forge seems to take it all and add to our payments... WORD OF ADVICE... if young save your own money in separate account and don't buy insurance... you come out way ahead... or you end up like us... screwed out of it all...
