No Pick up
I set mail in my outgoing mail box on Sat 2/21 then went out of town until today friday 2/26. I found that my gas and water has been shut off due to non paymant. I called them gas and water company and told them i mailed my payments last week and they basicly caled me a liar. I have to pay late fee and a $75 reconnect fee for gas and a $150 deposit, late fee and reconnect fee for my water. Im pissed. I eventually went out to my mail box and guess what i found. My bills were never picked up. that means no mail people came by for a whole week!! This is costing me a bunch of money that i dont have. my kids and i are sitting in a cold house with no water until monday when i can pawn something. WTF!!!

Packages not being delivered to street addresses
Please note we are having major issues with our USPS packages not being delivered in small towns such as the Town of Bingham since the new automated system went in effect. We do not have a mail career in town therefore packages are not being delivered to the street address, only to P.O. Box number. This is a major issue, because most companies, vendors, clients etc are not aware of this. They believe packages should only be sent to a street address, therefore they omit putting PO Box on the label and packages are being returned. This is HUGE problem for us and it really needs to be corrected. It would be so much easier for everyone if US POSTAL SERVICE or MAIL EXPRESS would update the database with their corresponding PO Boxes for each street addresses in small towns where there is no direct mail carrier so that to allow deliveries that ONLY show a street address.
Please forward this e-mail to someone hire-up that can make this happen. We really need a change for our services. As it is it is pretty inconvenient to have to go to the post office every day and not have our mailed delivered to our address.
We are looking forward for your response and advice in regards to this matter.
Thank you !

Opening of Mail/ misdeliveries
I can only assume that the postal carriers think, I stupid or they just don't give a shirt!
for the past 4 months in 2008. My personal mail comes in my box open! if its from a law office its open, if its a personal letter its open If its my car note payment books its open and payment books are missing.
I have place a written memo in my mail box so the carrier can read this letter. He pulled it out of the box and I have posted another memo warning. I am contacting the uspostal 800 number to issue a complaint.
I don't understanding why my mail needs to be read by the carrier. If mail is damaged they are supposed to seal it up! But, no the ignore SOB! just place the letter open in my box. THe law office sending me the correspondence said, those letters were sealed. My person correspondence from a family member was also, open on several occassionals.
What can I do get make my point with the post office that my privacy is not protected but, open and read?

Delivery
I have lived at my present address for 3 1/2 years. The former residence did not leave a new address, so for the last 3 1/2 years I have been getting their mail. All of my many contacts to the local postal office have fail to clear this up. Please help me find someone who can help.
Thank You

Poor service
The US Post Office Inwood Sta in Dallas Texas has got to be the worst managed, most understaffed, rediculous wait time, and broken down equipment that I have ever encountered. Today there was at 4:30 pm 12 people waiting in line with only one clerk working. Finally I rang the bell and asked if there was someone to help the poor one clerk, a women said she'd get the manager. Five munites later he stuck his head out and all of us in line complained. We all said this happens all the time, Tyrone, the manager said the equipment was "down" but we know this happens all the time. They even took the clock off the wall months ago so we wouldn't know how long we had to wait in line. Something MUST be done about this Post Office. How could all twelve of us be saying how bad the service if it was not true. I will never, ever go here again...I'll drive out of my way. or better yet, try to never have to use the US Post Office for anyting. I am so disgusted with the way this Post Office is run, mismanagement at it's best.

POSTMAN
I HAVE A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE POSTMAN THAT DELIVERS OUR MAIL.HE IS ALWAYS DELIVERING OUR MAIL TO OTHER RESIDENCES, TODAY 11-05-08 I RECIEVED A PACKAGE THAT WAS TORN COMPLETELY OPEN AND I HAVE PICTURES OF IT .HE DRIVES RECKLESSLY THROUGH OUR NEIBORHOOD WITH HIS DOOR AJAR SO THAT HE CAN GET OUT OF HIS CAR FASTER.HE CLEARLY HAS NO REGARD TO THE PUBLICS MAIL AS HE SEEMS MORE INTERESTED IN COMPLETEING HIS ROUTE AS FAST AS HE CAN, AS OPPOSED TO DOING IT CORRECTLY AND NEATLY.I AM SURE THAT YOU CAN FIGURE OUT WHO HE IS BY USING MY ADDRESS FOR A REFERANCE TO SEE WHO RUNS THIS ROUTE.WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE POST MAN THAT THE PUBLIC KNEW BUY FIRST NAME AND WOULD GET GIFTS AND TIPS FROM TIME TO TIME FOR DOING A GREAT JOB.IT IS CLEAR TO ME THAT YOUR HIREING STANDARDS HAVE GONE TO THE WAYSIDE AND NO LONGER HAVE ANY CONCERN OR RESPECT FOR THE PUBLICS MAIL.PROVE ME WRONG AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS GUY LIKE MAKE HIM SHOW INTEGRITY AND COMPASION FOR HIS JOB RESPOSIBILITIES AND MAKE HIM DELIVER AN APPOLOGY FOE HIS ACTIONS.I AM SURE THAT SOMEONE WAS OVERLOOKED FOR HIS JOB THAT WOULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB THAN HIM. VERRY DISSATIFIED CUSTOMER, ALBERT GUARDADO

Terrible place to work in
I was hired on as a casual-mailhandler at the PDC in Knoxville, TN 2 August, 2008. I originally applied two months earlier and every time I had all but wrote off the job, I would get a letter. I was dragged along for a few months, and meanwhile passed up good jobs in hopes that I had hit the motherload. Oh, I was wrong. When I finally did get hired on, and was introduced to organization, I saw the truth. I was treated not just like a Temporary employee. I found that to many I wasn't even considered a human being. I was never given a work schedule. I was never told how long my shift would be. I only knew when to work by being told I had to be back in 12 hours. I was never given a time card, and had to prod supervisors just to get a paper card to document my time. I would find out a day before I eventually quit that a time card had been made, and was sitting idle in the supervisor's office. The supervisor's response ' just didn't think I mattered enough'.
I was told by the 'union' members it wasn't their job to train me, and i was on my own. The only way to figure something out was to observe, or to do it wrong in order to be corrected. It was a total zoo, and after being yelled at I finally walked out on shift. I worked there a total of 2 weeks. I averaged 8 hour days, and only received 2 days off. I was told when I was hired I would work no more than 6 hours a shift, and under 40 hours a week.
It has been over a month, and I have yet to collect a dime in wages. I have called the USPS accounting department in Raleigh, NC. I was told my checks have been mailed out, and that I should have received them. I asked where they were mailed, and I was told to the postal center where I was employed. I called the postal center, and I was told 'that is your problem'.
My next plan of action is to report them to the department of labor, because the last time I checked slavery was outlawed in the 1860's.

Due to having a dog
I have a dog yes a pitbull approximately 8 months old and during the day I leave my front window and door open so he has refused to leave my mail so I had to go to the post office and sign a letter agreeing to have my screen door and window locked at time of delivery. So I did this and have complied with it but at times we do have company so this time my dog was in the double secured back yard and my front door was open and we had company so he refuse to delivery mail for two days. He wrote on my mail when finally making delivery stating it held back dure to front door open and my dog. My response to him was my dog was in back yard and he put on it so! I've contacted the office and spoke with a woman there because no supervisor was picking up for and explained to her the situation she was going to look into and I've heard nothing I'm lost at what to do I think this has gotten out of hand and we really rely on our mail.
Thank you,
Jane Mussaw.
